Was told about this place 3yrs ago.. ket trying to get there and was disappointed with everywhere else.. finally 2 weeks ago managed it and again 1 hr ago. Amazing fish, large pure white tasty as hell, chips crunchy outside fluffy inside , nothing greasy or untasteful. Without a doubt the best fish and chips in Harrogate. The staff where all friendly and quick to attend to my order. Presentation in a box was helpful and less hassle than wrapping paper. If your passing please give this place a try,they deserve our custom.Parking: No issues

Went in a couple of weeks ago, ordered the "Special" Fish, it turned out to been 2 fish? Had chips with that.The fish was greasy as were the chips, they are NOT being fried at the right temperature.Why are they using a stupid batter? It does not work at low temperatures.Lesson: 1. A "Batter" is to protect the fish inside and allow it steam itself to optimum full flavour and firmness.My first and last visit!Have been to the Wharfe in Otley a couple of times... no problems.

Fish and chips are really delicious and I’ve never had a bad experience the onion rings are very good and worth ordering ! I sometimes wish I asked for fraction longer on chips and onion rings but purely my preference , always cooked well
