I have just read the managers new reply. OMG shocked. I think the tone and the fact that my mobility issue had to be on show for all to see, is an insult. As we were offered a short low down bar stool as my wife has mobility issues. Lady who showed us in, then didnt seem happy we we were not accepting the stools. She took us back outside to wait on door told us we would have a long wait and asked us to wait until table came free. NOT THE QUEUING PROCESS that was the problem. It was how we were spoken to and treated because we didn't accept what was offered. Lady talked to us like a school mistress then pointing and being aggressive at one point all because i moved to look in the shop window. We were not there to be spoken to like naughty school children so we left. All because we weren't standing in the right spot outside, whilst only us were there. Raised with manager who seemed to think her attitude was OK as does the owners reply to my review, not exactly a professional reply just excuses for poor customer service. Shame as I was taking my husband there for first time and with wedding in mind for an outfit, as it came highly recommended. Will be sharing my experience with others, my advice avoid as they might have great food their customer service wasnt great and owners reply is not accepting perhaps they got it wrong. DISAPPOINTING ?

I have visited the wild plum a few times and I absolutely love coming back.Myself and my friend visited on Friday for a birthday treat and we were thrilled with our meals and the service we received. The Wild Plum is so lovely and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants a meal to fill them for the day and an absolute twist on a traditional meal. Bethany is a fantastic chef who clearly puts her heart and soul into every freshly prepared meal. Will be back again soon.

My sis and I visited for a special occasion.Sadly, we were disappointed ☹️ The staff were friendly, but - as a person who visits eateries regularly- I was gobsmacked by the prices (£19.50 for a turkey toastie on their lunch menu). The presentation on the Classic Pancakes was stunning, delicious flavours (£15.50) and plenty to share. We shared that as "pud" which followed (shared) poached eggs on sourdough. That was just OK - the dukkha and watery brown sauce didn't really work, but the addition of fresh herbs was really lush. My sister's cappuccino just wasn't a cappuccino - why can so few people foam milk?!There was zero atmosphere in the place, poor lighting and it wasn't particularly warm. For £30 on breakfast for two, I'd like a gorgeous memorable experience but I'm afraid neither of us would return here in a hurry. While I appreciate the artistry and complex flavours, the detail in the presentation...but the cafe still felt "cheap" (plastic Christmas tree on the table). And during a time when people are penny pinching, I felt a bit sick spending so much on above-average food. Sorry guys!

Absolutely incredible brunch! Such inventive flavours, beautifully presented and so tasty! We have eaten at Michelin star restaurants and this is on a par! A must visit when in Harrogate!

A very busy place, where great food was on offer. My lunch/brunch was delightful, a very warm greeting by the staff.

What a wonderful find in Harrogate. Not in the most obvious location, above an upmarket dress shop but definitely worth the effort to go to. Such tasty and well presented food. The best brunch/lunch food I had eaten in a long time. I had the Quesadillas which were great. Good service too. Slightly more expensive than most brunch spots but worth it. We will be back!

Lovely menu & food. Really interesting take on different dishes, the menu doesn't really do the food justice. Will be returning after the festive season.

Visited here on Thur dinner time, absolutely first class food. We had meat balls and crispy beef, both dishes were deliciously tasty, worthy of a 5 star restaurant. The waitress and overall service was great. If you like good food YOU MUST EAT HERE.

We absolutely loved the Mexican benny and the crispy chilli beef. We then shared a Barbie waffle and noticed how overwhelmingly salty it tasted. We informed one of the waitresses that we thought the waffle itself was very salty. She said she would go tell the chef. She came back with a strawberry crumb and said the chef had told her there wasn’t any salt in the waffle so it could be the crumb and would we like to try some to see. We both tried it and realised it was that and both remarked how salty it was. The woman then said that the chef had said when it mixes with the wet ingredients then it kind of melts and that’s what we were tasting. She then left the crumb with us. We finished the dish as no alternative had been offered but the crumb was all over so it was difficult to ignore the saltiness. We were disappointed that no alternative was offered such as to have the dish made again without the crumb. On the menu it does not say there are any salty elements as we would not have ordered it. We think maybe it was supposed to be the popping candy but it wasn’t sweet so we aren’t sure. We typically love your food and feel like the quality fairly reflects the prices. However, we feel that £16 was a lot to pay for a very salty waffle that we didn’t particularly enjoy but weren’t offered a solution. Emailed them the above and they didn’t even bother to respond, which we found disappointing.
