Lovely casual spot for a light lunch. I had the delicious soup of the day, followed by a slice of vegan chocolate cake. Staff were friendly and helpful and even wrapped up a portion of cake for my partner (tragically not present…).

Amazing breakfast!! The reviews lived up to the expectations. 30 mile trip was well worth it , will be a returning customer. The homemade baked beans have the nicest blend of tomato and herbs. Black pudding was very moist which was very enjoyable!

Just had lunch here today. I have an egg allergy and the attention to detail I had from the owner and staff was fantastic. The food was also delicious. I would highly recommend a visit.

What a cute little find on our road trip. Everything was home made, the place was so cute and such a friendly atmosphere from staff. Best black pudding I’ve ever had and overall the food was incredible from the soup to the bagel, and my boyfriend loved his full English.
Myself, my daughter and granddaughter popped in here for lunch and as always it was just perfect. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we entered, despite having a very tired, grouchy 2 year old who was quickly distracted by colouring oencils and book. Service was attentive and the homemade soup and sandwiches were lovely, (especially the lemon chicken!) Coffee and cakes also fab. Thank you.

i came in after reading all the lovely reviews on line and was not disappointed!! the service was excellent and so was the coffee, we had the eggs florentine and pesto chicken melt, both were delicious and well deserving of the great reviews they have been getting! i am excited to come again and try more of the menu and the delicious looking cakes!

First visit for us Staff friendly and good atmosphere Toasted scones were good. The coffee on the other hand was weak and not as hot as it should be.

Excellent bacon sandwich with loads of bacon in, coffee was very tasty and hot. Service and atmosphere excellent. Thank you, keep up the good work.

Fantastic food and service as always. The owner always treats you as if you’re an old friend and is brilliant with kids so you feel very welcome (not always the case when you go into some places with young kids). Will be back again soon.
