Decided to try Balti Hut seeing as it had won an award so surely that was a positive. We should have complained at the time because most of our food went in the bin. Food was piping hot but the quality/flavour was bland. We will not be returning.

Ordered nearly £30 of food. When I complained his exact words were what do you want me to do about it.I said nothing but not as polite as that.Thought i was trying to get refund or free meal. Not interested.Ordered two dishes one being King Prawn rogan josh.Exactly 5 KP so i complained.I was told chef puts 10/12 KP in each dish.I called his chef i liar.Wife ate meal next to me and i know there was 5 KP in it.Then indicated my wife was a liar. When i put the phone down was still apologising.I do not like being scammed so thats that Which is a shame as food is always excellent.I always tip driver but 5 KP is taking the piss.

Don’t expect a Restaurant. It is not. It’s a takeaway, a good one. Looks like a small bait cabin or an old bus stop with a front door. BUT what it serves up & why it won a recent award is the food tonight was fantastic. Lamb Balti, Chicken Tikka Masaala, Exquisite Mushroom Pilau & Garlic Naan. EVERY OUNCE OF THIS FOOD WAS SOOOO GOOD. Not the first time we’ve eaten from here. Certainly won’t be the last. Paid for good food, got good food. Staff very nice & polite too?? mmmm tasty tasty tasty

After reading that Balti Hut had won an award decided to try it. Can see why it won the award. Best Indian takeaway we've had for ages. One main one rice one naan & poppadoms more than enough for two people. The naan was huge! Also if paying cash £5 back on an order over £20 so really reasonable. Food excellent not greasy or oily restaurant standard we had chicken tikka Balti really tasty Would definitely recommend

Really disappointed heard great reveiws for balti hut tried to order a meal tonite to be told they don't deliver to ts6 because it is too far and they were too busy maybe they should have more staff and employ more drivers I'm surprised they are able to turn away custom in this present climate , tried but won't ring again

Rated the best in Boro for a reason, we eat from here very often, massive selection for anyone to chose from, unreal food every time. Honourable mention is the garlic and onion naan, samosas, variety of pickle and the coconut rice.

I spend almost £45 to feed three of us. After reading some positive reviews I was expecting something rather special. Unfortunately we were all bitterly disappointed. Chicken dishes were over cooked in thin sauce. The rice was over done. I certainly will not be going back

We really overbought! as the naans are huge! and we bought 2 naans plus 3 rice for 3 people! lol Plus 4 meals as we wanted to make sure my father had lots of choice. There is Lots of meat in the curries and each curry portion was easily made into 2 big meals. HUGE menu with lots of options. I was super happy to find they also make vegetable pilau as this is my all time favourite. It was very tasty :-) We are meat eaters, but my father found lots of great vegetarian options too. The vegetable Biryani was particularly tasty. We bought 4 poppadoms but ended up getting an extra 4 free with our order, as we spent over a certain amount :-) The only slight negative is that we were surprised not to get diced onion with poppadoms? As this is a dip/side we usually get with poppadoms. We just got 4 green mint goop stuff? and 4 mango chutney - always tasty. We ate all the mango chutney but left the green goop. We spent £65 but it ended up being enough for huge evening meals for 2 nights in a row for the 3 of us! So although the menu initially seemed pricey (nearly £10 per curry when ordering via Just Eat, plus then buying the rice etc on top), for the quality and the quantity of food we received we were very happy and think it good value.

Ignore the price on the menu and what they tell you over the phone they'll tack on more for the meals then extra delivery £30 for an adult and one child is ridiculous especially when the meals are bland and watery we questioned the price as it was different from what they quoted on the phone and got fobbed off even tho I can see online it should have been £6 cheaperWouldn't mind as much if the food was good but it's gone down hill save your money a tesco micro curry has more flavour.

I ordered a set meal and my curry contained a decorative brown pebble which I nearly broke my tooth on. Just eat would only offer 9.80 account credit and I've been unable to get in touch with the business. Absolutely terrible that something like this would happen in hospitality. Wont be coming back!
