Hate to leave this as I like the owner and love that this place cooks in veggie oil. But today's service was terrible. Ordered 2 large chips and was told I had to wait until they were cooked. Membership of staff then served up and online order and when the chips were cooked served someone who ordered after me even though if waited 15 minutes. Worse part though I was given 2 small chips not even regular. My partner who can't finish a normal portion eat all hers which is saying something....so yes terrible service and as I only got half of what I paid for not happyI will say though normally this place is on point and no doubt next time it will be great.

First time we've eaten anything tonight.Really nice - I had pattie and just as nice and alot bigger than in Scarborough where I live. My partner had parmo (half for dinner tomorrow) . Massive portion of (small) chips which birds will have to eat as way to much.Slight complaint which was they weren't very hot but definitely will buy again.Very friendly lady on the phone ..

We use this place all the time however it been a couple of times now they made mistake s we ordered parmesan it's comes 90 minutes later no parmesan it's comes to £44.30 so I rang up saying I'm sending it back and I would like it all fresh and warm it comes cold parmesan and crab sticks ovis put in microwave so disappointed and won't be going again

Absolutely shocking food... I ordered at 8.30 didn't receive the order till 10pm...I ordered large cod.. Pattie... Large chips and peas.... I was charged £20.50....the food was disgusting... The chips were cold, dry, scrappy and we're covered in bits from the chip fryer. (the oil needed changing or filtering) The pattie was ousing grease, coming through the wrapping paper. The cod was soggy on the bottom I lifted the cod up where there was excessive yellow grease on the bottom of the tray..(I'm dubious the fish was actually cod and not a cheap replacement) Disgusting... I rang the owner today he denied anything wrong with the food... he said I should have returned the food.. By this time it was after 10pm.. We'd waited that long for delivery. I did.. it was just ringing engaged tone then disconnecting. I asked the owners name and he refused saying I didn't need to know.. Shocking service... Disgusting greasy food... Unbelievably expensive.. Unbelievably poor quality Don't go there if your blind and have no taste buds.. Angela

It is overpriced and the food is pretty average. I got chicken tikka kebab and it was over spiced and dry, chips were good. I paid over £12 for a kebab chips and garlic. It just didn't blow me away, I feel the prices are not reflecting on quality.

3 time in a row got the order wrong and every time having to wait an extra hour for the right order to turn up, we use them twice a week and no curtisy offering for their mess up, after tonight is the last time I’ll be using belle vue, absolute joke of a service
Just got back from holiday and wife and I fancied the Boro favourite so a large Parmesan was picked up by myself. The ladies serving were all pleasant and food cooked within the time set. Good points over. Probably the worst one I’ve had for a long time. Chicken was cooked perfectly but béchamel sauce was tasteless with cheapest and again, tasteless cheese used on top. Chips were nice so had a chip butty and threw 90% of Parmo away. So sad, as heard it was a good place. May have had a bad night but won’t be giving it a second chance.

Ordered Pork parmo and I have been ordering for years from here and i always have praised their parmo to everyone, Recently the last two orders have been terrible. The underside of the parmo was overcooked and almost burnt and chips were soggy. I won't give up on Belle Vue Fisheries hoping they improve their quality of food. Up your game.
