Very disappointing! We got calamari and garlic bread for starters and it was like we got a plate full of oil! Calamari was soaked in grease along with the garlic bread too. Then onto our mains we had the original parmo. Again was very disappointed. The bechamel sauce was too thick and bland. Got a very sickly taste when you got to the middle of the parmo. Couldn’t finish it in the end. Overall not happy… especially the fact the bill came up to nearly £60. It’s a shame because everyone says this is the best place to eat in Boro. Maybe we just came at the wrong night.

Have not been here for years but In the area so called in without a reservation Tuesday night) and found it better than ever! Great atmosphere, very attentive staff and lovely food, lots of variety on the menu! Will become a regular, try it out!

We booked a meal for a work night out. The food was ok, the parmo was really good, the gluten-free burger was also good, but the chips were really poor. We were sat next to another table and they were so noisy we could hear ourselves to talk, and it took the staff until the end of our meal to chuck them out. We were given money off our meal as compensation but it was very much too late. Also, we were charged 50p a pot of mayo and same for ketchup....I have never been to a restaurant where you get noticably charged for the condiments. Also, they are unable to split the bill, so paying as individuals in a group is super difficult.Would definitely not eat here again. There are lots of better places to eat in Middlesbrough.

Always busy which makes for a good atmosphere, fast friendly service. Menu has a wide selection ranging from mussels to hanging kebabs. Food and drink prices are a bit high, mains are typically £20.Go early and check out the terrace upstairs.

I was apprehensive about coming back here, after a couple of years. Last time it was absolutely rammed and people were fighting. Anyway we threw caution to the wind and went back. What a difference. New staff, which were excellent, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent. I got the hot shot parmo, and the roasties were fantastic. And nice thick garlic sauce. Couldn't fault it. What a great experience. Yes , we will definitely be going back. Credit where credit is due.

Had a hotshot parmo and pepperoni pizza, both were very good. No chips just fries, but they do have gluten free options on lots of their dishes, which was an absolute must for one of our party ..... all in all, a lovely meal, and the 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food.

I wasn't sure about coming back here after a not so great experience a couple of years back. But.... I'm so glad I did. All new staff, who were very attentive and nothing was a bother to them. Great service from all of them. The food was outstanding. What a great experience. Yes. I will definitely go back.

Great overall experience visiting Central Park!Staff were fantastic hosts and very family friendly - there was no sense of rush to get you out of the restaurant as soon as possible which makes the experience nicely relaxed. Service was prompted for all courses and for drinks.MealStarter - Calamari was to a good standardMain - Small Parmo & Chips - Great meal and big portions (be careful if you are ordering a large)Dessert - Sticky toffee pudding was disappointing. Seemed overcooked and dry. Sauce was tasty and good ice-cream.Parking is tricky as it resides in a busy area. There is space opposite and down the street.Kid-friendliness: Staff and management were very family friendly and were interacting with our little one. Free ice-cream and kinder egg were provided for himDietary restrictions: A lot of gluten free options and gluten free flags come on all gluten free meals when delivered to the table

Great service and amazing food. Louisiana hot burger was the best burger I’ve had in my life. 10/10

Lovely food as usual. However, value for money, not so sure. Recent prices are a bit ridiculous to be honest. One particular dish is now nearly £10 more. Comparing the older menu to the new one is quite shocking. Not only that but the added 10% service which you need to request to remove if you don’t want to pay it is obviously designed to squeeze every possible penny from the customer and can not be justified. Here’s an idea….. let the customer tip what they see fit ?

Booked the blue lounge for birthday celebrations. Once again a great experiance. The staff always go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. They have a laugh and giggle with the customers aswell as making sure everyone is happy and have what they need. We completed a pre order for the party of aprox 30 people and everything was perfect. The starters arrived and then mains all within a timely manner. the food was exceptional! Everyone LOVED it. No one can complain at the pricing of food and drinks it’s worth every penny! and the quality is perfect. We will be booking more family functions in the future ❤️ x

Very popular restaurant, busy and a bit noisy, but the food is excellent. We ordered Chicken Parmesan, a Middlesbrough invention of a chicken breast butterflied, covered with parmesan cheese and tomato and cooked beautifully. They have variations on this theme. Staff all VERY welcoming and helpful. Drinks prices reasonable (an excellent Prosecco £27.95) Decor interesting and featured tiled walls and copper pipes. Important to call them to reserve a table a few days in advance. We thought it was busy and the manager said it was a quiet night! They are often full.

Thank you so much once again Central Park team. My husband and I visited last minute for dinner and had our usual classic Parmesan. I’ve tried so many parmos over the years and central parks is my all time clear favourite. All the staff are so welcoming and lovely it was again such a lovely experience. We can’t wait to go back again

Ate here to celebrate my partner's Graduation with some family. I ordered the vegan chicken burger which looked small at first but was a perfect size more filling than it seems. We also got some halloumi fries to share and came with a lovely sauce. The only negative is it got a little warm throughout the evening. They do have a pretty flower wall to take photos with upstairs which is isolated so don't feel watched while taking photos.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger and halloumi fries
