Nice tidy clean building , nice atmosphere but a bit cold by door ( didn't bother us) .Great staff and service , diligence with ordering etc. issue comes with food , both of us ordered a parmo , when it came mine was mostly pink , poor quality chicken ( it was not raw, if anything it was overcooked) it was tough , and mostly was spat out . Took it back they made me another , which was slightly better , but had same issue . Friends also had cheap meat issue. Sad that a store with good staff etc is let down by poor ingredients.Wheelchair accessibility: Big door , all flat , not sure about toilet access

If I could rate this place zero stars then I would.Me and my partner ate here recently and ended up with food poisoning.We did not finish our food and we handed it back to the lady behind the counter who didn’t seem surprised.I can only describe the Chicken as like rubber, an off looking colour, And the parts that weren’t covered in seasoning sauce (I’m guessing trying to hide the fact that it tasted like fish). Health and safety need to look at this place, as I have read other reviews similar to mine.

Quick service, normally a table free and if not there's one before your food is ready. Cheaper than KFC and larger portions.

Ordered a wrap, got a pitta. Very bland, no sauce. Vegetable patties are the cheap potato based ones. Not good value for money. They also have plastic straws freely available on the counter, which have been banned for a long time...Vegetarian options: Terrible choice - just the classic potato patties.

Zero stars. Food was terrible. Rice were dry cheap quality and off. Stomach was messed within minutes of eating peri peri chicken with rice. Service was ordinary. Highly not recommended. Local food agency should check. ZERO STARS

Been in middlesbrough for 2 months and decided to try out Peri peri original for the first time. We spent £15 Ordered a "chicken steak" burger, expecting a chicken fillet in a burger bun but recieved instead one of those frozen fillets you get for £1 from a asian supermarket. Super misleading. Disgusted to say the least! Won't be going back here again!

I should of learnt from the last time we ate here the staff were RUDE and our order was disgusting. However we thought it may have improved but we are absolutely wrong. Missing order, cold food, we called about missing food and the rudeness on the staff even the owner was disgusting. Very poor customer service god knows how he runs a business. Accusing customer of Lieng!!! Wow speechless. Never ever would I give them my money again. Don’t waste you’re money neither.

I used to eat from peri peri every week and the food always fantastic , but today food quality was very bad ,chicken burger was burnt and hard to eat , the customer service isn't good either. wasted money today,I am really disappointed.

This used to be my favourite place to eat after swimming. The portions at the moment are quite funny - giant chicken burger was same size as kids beef burger, very little chips on the plate. Cost of living crisis I guess.
