Upon arrival , floor was mucky , and a filthy fridge in corner ( think I would be cleaner left outside ) . Food mostly a little Spicer than expected . Tikka masala very watery sauce , with onions and peppers , not that sweet creamy red curry I was expecting , tikka elements of food pretty good . Chicken Ceylon hot and bland with stale tasting chicken ( cheap, old ,or frozen dunno , but not a quality item . Rang to complain , said they would make me another curry if I went and got it, but didn't seem to understand my problem or want to agree it was a problem . Overall just go somewhere is

Price is very good and the freebies. Woah them heavenly free goodies. I'm trying to find ways to incorporate this into my usual local curry order. Problem is the curries are terrible. And as that's the main reason I order from am Indian it's kinda a deal breaker. So more details ordered 3 vegetarian curries 1 madras 1 jalftezi 1 mushroom bhaji the main sauce was good but the veg used wasn't the usual fair of potato green beans cauliflower etc it was a boat load of peas and sweetcorn in a curry sauce. Come on guys I know vegetarians are often a second thought but this was insulting.

Not very good , arrived hot plenty of chicken in currys , had a bhuna and tikka massala both tasted similar, no obvious tikka chicken in tikka neither curry cooked/tasted how expected would not order again

It was disgusting,don't go here because its really disgusting the food is not a curry,smells awful,I did not eat it,DONT GO HERE
Ordered a king prawn vindaloo, they were sparing with the prawns both in size and quantity. No vegetables were present and the dish was lacking in spice; however something positive may be stated about the overall flavour of the dish and it arrived in good time.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but as I've been a vegetarian of 20 years and ended up unknowingly chewing and probably swallowing chicken that had found it's way into my mushroom pilau rice, I have express how truly upset I am by my experience at the Raj and I was also totally dismissed when I rang to complain.The food was also absolutely dripping with oil too which is really cheap and off putting. Just a distressing experience, and as I couldn't eat it, a totally waste of money.
