“Fab pub with amazing staff! I had been on the canal boat with my mam and daughter and we were freezing, we had spotted the pub earlier on so nipped in hoping to get a hot drink. The girl behind the bar was so accommodating, they don't normally serve hot drinks as there is another business close by and they won't take their trade (fab attitude) But they were closed so she said I could have a cup of tea - I also believe she could see the desperation of how much I needed the tea! My mam and daughter then pushed their luck and asked for a hot chocolate! It sounds silly, but she could of turned us away, we weren't big spenders, weren't local but the service we recied was 10/10 I would return in a heartbeat next time I am in the area!”

“Popped in here for a drink and to have a rest from walking to find a proper pub, this is the place the Americans should visit if they want to see the real Yorkshire, locals drinking in a local pub. Good value beers and on a Saturday they have special offers which were even cheaper. Really enjoyed it.”
