“Our first time in Ripon and the One Eyed Rat had a cosy atmosphere thanks to the real fireplace. Quite busy by Saturday afternoon and a little chilly if you're further away from the fireplace, but all in all a lovely pub which is dog friendly.”

“We stopped for lunch with our dogs after the Ripley antiques fair.
A lovely pub with friendly staff, nice decor.and a peaceful ambience.
I had the seafood platter and my partner had a jacket potato.
The food was very tasty, freshly cooked, and reasonably priced.
I highly recommend this place for a drink or a yummy meal.

“Booked on Table on Sunday for party of 6 menu was fab choice 2 courses for under £20 we opted for starter and a main and food was great.
Manger said it was going under new management this week so we wish them nothing but good luck,Thank you.”

“Just got home from a weekend in Masham with friends and we stumbled into the Bruce Arms. We also stumbled out a few hours later but that's another story ?. What a fantastic little pub this is with a lovely beer garden. Lovely beer served by the most welcoming staff and atmosphere in there was great with the locals. 100% worth a visit ???”
