The food is fabulous, wonderful flavours, excellent service. Not your usual pub food , everything is high quality and cooked by a trained chef....but pub food prices.

Visited here a few times with friends and family and always recommend it to anyone visiting Masham. Its a friendly and relaxed place for a quick lunch/coffee but also serve a wonderful sunday lunch. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented with friendly service. The fish dishes are always fresh and perfectly cooked with delicious sauces and a great selection of deserts and cakes.

Visited with family and friends for Sunday Lunch. The food was delicious and great value for money. The staff were so helpful and friendly and could not do enough for us. Some of the party did not eat meat but the fish options on the Sunday Lunch menu were delicious. We were spoilt for choice with deserts. All the food is cooked fresh and to order so this is not a fast-food joint but quality tasty food is worth waiting for.

Sunday lunch with Volker and Sue is always a pleasure. From the moment you walk into the Old Station Cafe-Bistro, you’re always made to feel welcome, and if you have a good sense of humour then you will get along with the chef just fine! The food is traditional and hearty, and absolutely delicious. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so you know that you’re getting a meal made with care - and I can honestly say that we’ve never eaten better food! Warm, welcoming, friendly and delicious food… what more can anyone want! Thankyou for our lunches every Sunday guys, me and dad enjoy them every single week!

Good parking, friendly but not vegan friendly. No milk ( non diary)alternative at all and after trying to find a non-diary drink when we asked if there was anything on the menu that was vegan we were called awkward. My daughter had chips in a dry butty and said she felt alien. The man who came to serve us said “all vegans do is eat grass”. It should not say it is a vegan friendly cafe. The man was Brusk, but the young man was very sweet. On the plus it is dog friendly and spacious. We had a misunderstanding with the order. Brown bread buttered instant of white bread dry, and a cheese melt with no cheese.

Our first Christmas Dinner at The Old Station and it was amazing, 5 courses of lovely food. The quality of the food was excellent and was presented so well. Fantastic Sunday lunch today, beautifully tender and lovely flavour beef, 6 veg, Yorkshire pud, roasties and lovely gravy. No room for apple strudel, we’ll go back for that with coffee sometime soon. Christmas decorations are great and the atmosphere was just right. Staff are very friendly and helpful, making sure you have all you need. We’ll definitely be back for more. Thanks
It is a tea room that serves that bit extra. Would always recommend giving the "special" consideration. Been a few times over the years (yes I'm old) and hopefully will be visiting several times in the next couple of decades.

Thought we would nip in for a lite bite. Website says they do Sunday lunch on a Sunday. Not clear it’s exclusive. Asked if we’d ordered. We said no. We said their website was not clear. We got told it was in no uncertain terms. Not very friendly. Won’t be visiting again and won’t be recommending.

Stayed at the site and had lunch here. Sunday lunch was great, great pieces of beef which usually let most places down. Nice relaxed place and friendly staff. Only ate here once at shut Mondays. Will be back in the future.
