We spent just under £30, the scampi is the worst scampi we have ever had. Overcooked and the scampi meat is non-existent! It was full of flour. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Fish was fine, and the service was fine. But there's definitely better chippy's around.

The person who served us didn't seem to have time for us, as she asked what we wanted, but would turn away as we were ordering. Whilst getting the food together, she coughed repeatedly without covering her mouth or into her elbow.The food review may be a bit biased as I ordered cod and it tasted dry and chewy... (I'm from Hull so only use to Haddock)... The curry sauce and chips were lovely.

First found this nugget of delight half a dozen years ago working on the Ambulance.Been back today with grandkids. Pleased to find the same great fish and chips friendly staff and great service.Well worth coming away from seafront area to eat here.

This is by far THE best for chip shop I have ever been to. I live in a north west seaside town with some great chippies but this was exceptional. The price was reasonable but moreover the quality was faultless. It made our trip and I'd definitely return!

Stumbled in this place by accident and so glad we did. Excellent fish and chips! We only had the "small" fish but we were stuffed. Lovely friendly service. Forward thinking in asking new additions to the queue whether they want any fish putting in.

We came here because the reviews made it look good ( star rating ). We were served by a woman with a terrible attitude and no manners, slamming our drink on the counter. No please no thanks very blunt. We had to ask her colleague for our curry sauce because she had stormed off. The fish and chips were very expensive and my partner found a hair attached to one of her chips. We won't be back

Found this lovely fish shop whilst staying on the sea front in our motor home, foods was lovely tasted nice and fresh. The lovely lady who served us was really nice definitely would recommend keep up the good work
