This curry house doesn’t cope with being busy(ish) . Probs half to two thirds full and the service and quality of food really falls . Undercooked bhajis and doughy breads . All felt rushed . Everything also starts to taste sweeter ?!? Weird . I see others have mentioned it, but it was noticeable between visits . Normally decent place - 7-10 But when busy it’s drops to a 3/4-10 quickly.

Absolutely fantastic food. And the delivery driver was kind and polite, making sure everything was right before he left. Could not ask for a better service. The food is top notice and the delivery was fast prompt and bang on time.

Lovely meal as always. Delivered by a professional and pleasant man who checks receipts prior to giving food to us to ensure correct order. Will be ordering again very soon. Many

Ordered via Just Eat. With an ETA of 9pm. This restaurant doesn't operate on IST. As it should have been 4 hours early. However, it was more than an hour late. Good taste and smell, but the swimming pool of the curry in the bag makes for a real challenge to access your food. 1*. (Props to the chef, logistics needs work)

We have just been to Spices for my sons 18th birthday, a party of 11. We waited around 1.5 hours before recieving our starters. This was after many other people were served that came in after us. When we finally recieved our mains we were very disappointed. The tikka masala was far too sweet, there was hardly any meat. Even the rice was a tiny portion. The nanna's were brought way after the mains which meant we were waiting letting it go cold so we could eat it together. All in all it was very poor & I would not recommend it especially considering the price. First & last time.

Fabulous food, service, great evening out, but HOW.? MUCH.? SUGAR.? is the chef putting in meat dishes ??? Diabetes nightmare. I've heard they try to make their dishes for the British palate but this was like chicken or fish puddings. We don't like it!! Thank heavens for the dal, which was tasty, savoury, as it should be. Such a shame they have made everything SO SICKLY SWEET.

Must have been an off night (Monday) one waiter was very nice the other just wanted you to eat and leave. I found the food not as good as other places but not the worst I have had. I suppose what put us off was 2 of the 4 poppadom's were stale - soft, so that put us off, the cooling yogurt dip had spice in it so too spicy for me and the onion salad had an odd taste to it too. The pawn on pruri was the best I have ever had it was beautifully presented and tasted divine, the rest of the dishes were ok, not bad but have had better. As I say it was a Monday night

Attentive staff. Pickles in pickle tray very runny but edible. Best handmade onion barji I have ever been served. The curry I had extremely tasty

Loved it. Fantastic food. Prawn puree was really tasty. Coriander naan is on point. Lamb was tender. Good value. Meal for 2, 3 drinks and a starter. 2 naan and poppadoms came to 52 pound. Bargain

Ordered a takeaway. Told 15 to 20 minutes. Drove up there to wait a further 30 minutes. 40 minutes in total. The waiter was very apologetic. The food was OK but quite oily.
