Called in here today (6 of us) drawn in by their big advert outside ‘Cask Conditioned Real Ales’…..only to find they don’t stock any? The young guy at the back of the bar said ‘we’ve had a recent change round of bar pumps so are out of real ale’……complete nonsense as we called in here 18 months ago and had the same problem. Do they know Trading Standards can prosecute businesses that advertise what they can’t supply? We’ll be in Taddy again next month so I hope they update their signage ….otherwise TS will be informed. Needless to say we left without buying a drink!!

The food was appalling. I had the dirty nachos. The soured cream and salsa seemed as though they were from a jar. No jalapeño chilli or guacamole. I have had better from a box kit. The spicy prawns were cooked just short of burnt. Such a shame as it could be a lovely place to dine out.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility also dificult for people with mobility issues.

Just been to visit here with my mum and her best friend. Had the Calzone with a glass of wine and the food was exemplary! Highly recommend if in the area! What a find ❤️

Great pub. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is one of relaxation; put your feet up and rest.We opted for the pizza ? and man am I glad we did. They where superb.Dogs allowed in the front bar area.Local beer on tap of course. Large selection of drinks.

Nice pub but always quiet. No wonder you have to sit with coat on as this pub don't seem to turn radiator's on.They seem to rely on kitchen to keep it warm.

Awful service tonight, food was average at best. Arrived at 5:30, main meal took a while to arrive. Took an hour and 15 minutes for 5 puddings to arrive due to a buffet for upstairs. Had we of known it was going to take so long we wouldn’t have bothered with the puddings. Kept being told “they’re being made now” when they clearly weren’t as the man in the kitchen was still cooking the buffet. Finally got our puddings at 8:30, 3 hours after we arrived. Should never of given us a table if 1 man in the kitchen can’t cope (and shouldn’t be expected to) with the level of service required to serve 2 large tables and a buffet for 35 people. Certainly won’t be coming back for food any time soon.

Great little place to meet friends for a meal and a drink. Food was really nice and staff were friendly. Proper wood fired pizza oven which was good. Only thing I’d say for the food is they could do with some small sides to offer with the mains on the menu. Onion rings, loaded fries, halloumi fries that sort of thing, otherwise was all great! Prices aren’t bad either.

Great bar with a good range of beers which would be even better if the bar staff looked up from their phones and served their customers. Please and thank you wouldn’t go amiss either.

Stopped inTadcaster for lunch and found this restaurant. We ordered a pizza each. The pizzas were prepared from scratch and put in a pizza oven. They were absolute delicious and very good value for money. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would certainly return again if we found ourselves in this area.

About a month ago a groups of us pre booked for a meal only to have to walk out (having only paying for our drinks) after waiting 2 hours after ordering our food which hadn't arrived. What was the chef actually doing during this time as it certainly wasn't busy?
