Absolutely amazing tearoom. The staff and the food were fabulous (cottage pie was excellent and great portions) I also enjoyed a coffee there in the morning and this was lovely too. Dogs made to feel very welcome ?

This little cafe is simply the best place in Tadcaster to sit down and eat. There is plenty of choice to suit everyone's taste. We had a BLT sandwich a sausage sandwich and a bacon and mushroom sandwich and drinks. The sandwiches are large rolls filled to the brim. Lisa and Ellie are great, always friendly and chatty. I recommend you call in,it is nearly always busy so maybe worth a phone call first but well worth a visit .The cakes are delicious too

Fantastic tea room. A hidden gem. We stopped in trying to find a good breakfast and we’re so happy with our choice. Big, tasty and hot. The cakes looks delish and are home made on site. Will definitely be back.

Popped in for here after taking my toddler swimming across the road and was surprised it seemed to be fully booked. Luckily they managed to fit us in. I was really pleased to see at least 50% of the menu was vegetarian which is probably a coincidence but for us as a vegetarian family it was really refreshing to see and not feel like we were stuck with no choice and just the usual cheese sandwich. All the sandwich options looked really nice, however a bit on the pricey side. The cakes all seem handmade which is what we would expect for a little teahouse and the raspberry scones were especially good and came with clotted cream which again you don't always get elsewhere. It is a lovely little place and despite them having to slot us in between bookings we didn't feel rushed. All the food looked really good and fresh and there were clearly loads of repeat customers so you know it must be nice. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

We have just had a lovely lunch at the Tea Lounge, the food was perfect, the roast beef was delicious and the toasted sandwich had the strongest cheese I've had on a toasted sandwich. Well done Lisa and the girls. ??

Met a friend before the high school run; first visit to this little tea room and it was lovely. Greeted warmly and asked if I would like to order a drink whilst I waited. The menu looked varied with some really nice choices. We enjoyed a nice piece of lemon and meringue sponge to cheer us up on a Friday afternoon. The place was clean, friendly and I will definitely return to sample the menu!
Great food, great service and fantastic atmosphere. Great for a good lunch.
