Although tasty, this must rank as the greasiest fish we have ever had, not helped by the fact the batter was over cooked and dark brown. We were staying in the nearby travelodge so eating places were few. Price was fair, chips were decent, but, I would not get fish from here again.

The place was dirty, the staff rude and sarcastic and the portions small. I also suspect that they deliberately didn’t put the lids on the curries properly as some kind of lame

have to say there huge difference between this shop too the one in york which you would not think so the chips are more chunkier the haddock is a lot more

Fish very good, chips OK. But just had Scampi and it was gopping. (very oily as though not drained properly. Will avoid that in future.
