I’ve been to this pub and asked for a steak and they served me microwave steak and when I asked politely they was rude and the chef actually came out of the kitchen and gave a really rude look and when I asked to speak with a menager she was even more rude and when I asked why the chef gave me rude looks and she responded that he was angry with me... never ever again in this pub and I wouldn’t advise to anyone to go and waste their money on microwaved food..In the end I had to ask my refund and leave the place and the I wonder how the owner let this kind of management to run..I wished I took the time and checked the reviews before o went in! It actually tells you about the place a lot as there are many poor reviews…Just shocking…..

Food is awful, when we visit York we don't come here anymore but give it 1 more chance. Staff are so grumpy, slam plates down, and no checking if everything's ok anymore.
