Picked up a takeaway and noticed the place was full of Chinese families all eating. I said to the waiter I'm expecting this to be brilliant due to who is eating here!Sadly although the chow mein was of good quality and plenty of it, it was SO SALTY we didn't enjoy it. Also we only got 5 very small spare ribs with very little meat on them.Disappointed.

The food came out so quickly, very impressed. The service was excellent, not in your face, but attentive, friendly without being too much. Great. The food was very hot, I don't think I've ever had Chinese food that's actually arrived steaming hot before!Good sized portions, very reasonably priced. I didn't enjoy the chilli shredded beef so much, not quite sweet or spicy enough for me and hard to spot the beef in it but very crunchy and thick coating!Beef and blackbean was excellent.

The best Chinese Restaurant in York! Loved that there was a choice of Traditional Chinese and Western Chinese menu… - you could mix and match to your taste. The service was amazing and the staff polite, caring and efficient… would recommend 100%

Absolutely gorgeous food. Fresh clean food that’s not greasy or heavy like a lot of Chinese restaurants.Fantastic service and friendly staff. Authentic, tasty and would definitely recommend to anyone that appreciates good Chinese food.

We were in holiday in York and were looking for a Chinese takeaway. Didn't know what to expect when we put the order in, but got a friendly service and great food and I wasn't waiting long before it was ready. We'll definitely go there again next time we're in York. Highly recommend.

Food absolutely fine, served in seconds, same as any Chinese take-out but with better options.Picture is house chow mein, sweet chilli shredded beef and prawn toast (yes half eaten, good sizes).The prices need updating on the website menu though. Had a meal here ordered meat spring rolls and chicken and mushroom soup for starters. Meat in spring rolls was a minced pork there was no beansprouts or veg so very bland soup was watery and tasteless. Main courses of chicken satay and kom po chicken were not much better. Sauce was gloopy in the satay and the kom po consisted of very small pieces of chicken. On the bright side staff could not have been nicer very attentive .unfortunately due to the poor quality of food we would not visit again.

I got food poisoning after I ate the beef. Experienced an extremely difficult time in my life. Stayed in the toilet for 2 hours, vomiting as well. I am really extremely sad and disappointed.Thank you Shi shang, for giving me this nightmare experience.
