Very pleasant for a quick coffee and cake. Good central location with speedy service. We had to cut our cake with a fork as the had run out if knives (wooden, disposable) but it fine, we managed. Thank you.

Starbucks is always delicious and the staff are always friendly. The only reason for the 3 stars during this visit was that the shop was a bit on the dirty side, counters needed wiping and the floors were filthy, some of the tables needed attention, too. Also, the gal taking orders was prepping the cups for those who were making the coffee and she was dividing the cups up by putting her un-gloved fingers INSIDE of the cups and her mask was UNDER her chin. With how things are today (uhhem, Covid), you'd think they would have more stringent protocols in place.

A beautiful place but sadly, nothing on the food menu that's gluten- or lactose-free, and I'm worried the staff aren't very knowledgeable about what is. It's mostly the franchise's fault so I can't knock them too harshly for nothing being available, but buyer-beware if you have food intolerances and you think Starbucks might be a workable option if you need to eat out -- sad to say, it isn't.

In my opinion, this is the best Starbucks store that I've ever been to. The staff are so lovely and make my day every single visit! The store is clean, the interior is gorgeous and the drinks are delicious! I can't help put pop by every time I visit York. Thank you for making every visit so special! Horrible! the bathroom was dirty, there were a lot of flies around the tables and the wifi didn´t work. If you have the choose, go to another place.

I was very surprised at the state of the interior, the floor is very dirty, and the coffee machine was covered in a layer of dust and grime. The metal table base was also extremely dirty. Definitely not a place to feel comfortable in.
A really great place to work from, good internet facilities and the coffee is good.

I was visiting York for the day and decide to have a mocha. The drinks are consistently of a high quality and I always enjoy a hot drink from this establishment. Generally the staff are friendly and polite whenever I have visited a Starbucks.

This Starbucks has a nice open plan feel with tons of light and space. The interior looks like it used to be a bank or something else quite formal and traditional which gives it a unique feel. It's right in the city centre so a great place for a pit stop during a day of sightseeing. The atmosphere is calm and chilled. There is sometimes a long queue for drinks but not too bad.
