I had been here with my family for dinner. It was a really good experience dining here. The staff were friendly and service was good. The food was fresh and delicious. Authentic Italian cuisine the Italian way. This place gets quits busy which means it is quite popular for its food and service. The staff are always happy to help. This is a must visit place for fine dining in York.

What a find! The hotel recommended this restaurant to us. Great food, great atmosphere. We hadn't booked as it was only 530pm but they managed to find us a table.It is lovely to not be rushed and the time between courses was perfect.Thank you for a lovely meal.Great evening and it was a wonderful pre theatre meal with you.We will be back next time we stay in York.

I visited this Italian restaurant in August and had a delightful experience. I ordered the tagliatelle marinara, which was exceptional. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the seafood sauce was flavorful and rich.I couldn't leave without trying the tiramisu. It was heavenly - creamy, light, and perfectly balanced in flavor. A great end to the meal.The service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was cozy, giving a true Italian vibe.

What an absolute jewel of a restaurant. Just outside of Micklegate and with a great menu. The lobster ravioli was amazing. Service is great and the person with desserts was a gem. Lovely place, please visit.

Oh my, what a weekend to be celebrating our Sapphire Wedding Anniversary - Race Weekend! Well done to the staff for doing a great job when under so much pressure - the place was heaving! I'd booked months in advance so was a little disappointed that our family group wasn't upstairs as it was so noisy downstairs it was hard to have a conversation. However, the food was fabulous and there was certainly a buzz in the air! We'll be back, but will choose a quieter time next time.???

Dropped on this place by looking it up on Google and it was a great find !! Was fancying a good bowl of pasta and a glass of red and it didn’t disappoint. My husband and I both had the carbonara with a garlic bread which was beautiful and crispy , thank pasta was gorgeous so was the house wine . It was presented very wellStaff were lovelyWill definitely go back .

A small group of us had dinner here a few weeks ago whilst on holiday in the area. On the whole we had an enjoyable meal and staff were friendly. It seems to be a thriving venue - although that did make it quite a noisy place to eat. All the food was presented beautifully, however my vegetables were a tad overdone. All in all a good experience though.

Beautiful meal and great value for money. Service was fantastic and glad there was air con. It was a really hot day when we visited. Large portions. Beautiful decor and authentic music. Steak melted in your mouth and the goats cheese starter was delightful! Highly recommend
