Depends what you're looking for. If you want proper home made food made from scratch, give it a miss. Our visit was disappointing. Not only was the food at a stretch only average, but they'd allowed themselves to run out all but one ale. To be honest the only redeeming thing was our waitress who was excellent. Until they get a better chef in residence, we won't be back!

We had an amazing lunch here on Friday. The food was so good and very reasonably priced. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return when we are coming this way!

Popped in for lunch as had been a week before & had a lovely delicious lunch. Sadly, 'Jamie' the chef wasn't in on my second visit & this was apparent when I recieved my food. After, eating what can only be classed as mediocre fried garlic mushrooms ..I started on the salad only to discover the remains of a discarded sauce packet ? Was this salad from another customers lunch ? .. unfortunately this put me off the rest of my lunch. On speaking to the 'owner/chef' at the time ..his conduct was most unprofessional he could not exolain why it was there & his apology felt forced. He took the price of the mushrooms from my bill ..however, this was a most dissapointing visit compared to the last one. Our waitress was mortified & apologised on his behalf. I have since learnt that Jamie no longer works at the Fox ... which is a travesty as both he & his partner who I met on my first visit were incredibly passionate about their roles & the food was amazing.
