Awesome micro-pub selling some great real ales and cider. Mixture of ales bitters & stouts with ciders wine and some great gins. Super friendly staff. Dog friendly. Prices are very excellentParking: 2 parking lots just behind the bar

My wife (Caroline) and I love coming to early doors. It's a community pub that always has a warm welcome. The beer, spirits and wine are tip top so there is always something for everyone. A cracking local.

Great little pub. Quality beers and nice gins and wines for the ladies. Closes early, so don't leave your visit until last orders.

Town centre micropub with fantastic choice of ales, straight from the cask. Friendly staff and generous snacks. Reasonable prices too.

My favourite place to drink in Daventry. Good, changing selection of real ales, friendly bar staff, relaxed atmosphere and usually a dog to fuss.

Malcolm Lashley

Excellent selection of ales at this micro-pub. Friendly staff and locals.

Eclectic little real ale drinking house in Daventry with the beer in real barrels. Excellent selection of well kept real ale, thoroughly recommended.

Nicest pub in Daventry. Only complaint is it closes too early!

This pub has gone through many tweaks over the years, none offensive, but the attitude and manner of the owner this evening to two members of staff was appalling.Keep your discipline meetings off the shop floor, or train and agree the message in advance. This wasn’t the first time this ‘gentleman’s’ sharp tongue has soured the beer.Made for a very awkward atmosphere and I didn’t stay for a second. You may be ‘top dog’ but it doesn’t mean you should bark the orders!

Didn't see any food ,staff were great and beer was good too. Just the one toilet ? Bit of a down side , but the rest made up for it so definitely be going again

This pub has gone through many tweaks over the years, none offensive, and I have been a frequent customer over the years. I can’t fault the beers, and the service and ambience is generally positive. However, the attitude and manner of the owner this evening to two members of staff was appalling. Keep your discipline meetings off the shop floor, or train and agree the message in advance. This wasn’t the first time this ‘gentleman’s’ sharp tongue has soured the beer. Made for a very awkward atmosphere and I didn’t stay for a second.
