Average at best. The service was slow and we were never once followed up on offering drinks, and then staff forgot to offer condiments with the mains. We had to then flag staff down, as the food was burned and overcooked. Which whilst was accepted by the waitress, the replacements arrived when others had finished food.Honestly disappointed with the pub and service as having read the reviews we had hoped this would be our new meet up venue for family get togethers. Not to be.

Our group preordered their items days in advance, but it took over an hour to receive the food. When I mentioned this to the management, they said this was standard. Cooking leans very heavily on deep-fat frying, too. Need I say more? Won't be turning up again.

Great lunchtime experience at Middlemore Farm for 7 of us .All the staff were friendly . The Table was set and ready for us . We ordered the festive menu. Food arrived in a timely fashion and there was plenty of it . Compliments to the chef as the food arrived hot . Very good value . Really enjoyed . Thank you everyoneParking: Plenty of wide spaces and directly outside the pub

On Christmas day we arrived on time for our Dinner at 2.45pm. At 3.10pm we had not been seated or spoken to by anyone. I asked what was happening and was told they didn't have a table for us as people were only getting their dinner. I asked to speak the the Manager who was as unhelpful as an empty bag with holes in it. I asked for a full refund as we were not prepared to wait 2more hours for a table. Our Christmas was ruined as we had no dinner upon returning home and as everyone knows not even a takeaway opened. It was disgusting and absolute chaos up there on 25th December 2023. In all honesty we should have been compensated instead of been told by the Manager that his Christmas ruined.

Service was slow no customer care.Food was terrible! I would not eat here again or recommend to anyone.I think there must be something wrong with the extraction in the kitchen as the whole restaurant area started to smell of chip fryers. Not a good pre booked Boxing Day.Last year games and service was great this year it was an absolute letdown.

Christmas day dinner. What a mess! Over 3 hours we were there in total!!! We were not at the table we booked and nearly 1 hour wait for our pre booked starters to come out. Not 1 single acknowledgment or apology the entire time. The manager was spoken to politely a couple of times over the hours to ask when we would get food, he dismissed any discussion and offered no apology at all - that felt the worst part for us! Even if busy, at least a little 'sorry' and 'thank you for waiting' while putting the food down would've been better than nothing. The table next to us had only had their starter in the 3 hours! So many tables of people sat with nothing.Because we had paid prior to the day we didn't just want to leave and lose all our money - but we regreted booking to go there.Very disappointed in the main - some of the food was over cooked, the potatos were undercooked and all was boarding on cold. We had one tiny ball of what should have been stuffing but was burnt and not nice. The turkey seemed like it wasn't fresh- probably processed? For nearly £70 a head I definitely expected better!Starter and dessert were nice.People become frustrated and angry and still no acknowledgement or apology - the waitress had a really difficult time with a table being agressive and the manager was no where to be seen during that to offer her his support and try to defuse the situation.I know it was busy and staff challenges but the lack of apology or offer of a drink or something while we wait just felt careless and rude.We were getting our own drinks at the bar and clearing our own glasses back to them. Ate our dessert with all the main dishes still on the table.Honestly so disappointed and really took the joy away from that part of Christmas day!

Table was booked for 12.30 but order was not taken until 1.15! We were told there was no chicken so several dishes were not available. We then waited over 30 minutes for the starters to arrive. The main courses arrived at 2.15. All 3 steaks were cold, as was the grilled tomato! A tonic water ordered was a glass of still water and when it was questioned was told they didn't do slimline tonic!!! It was not replaced. The staff were very slow in responding and now it is 2.55! The restaurant was not particularly busy and the service left a lot to be desired! Will think twice before coming back here again!

Waiter was so friendly and chatty. Really helpful and just lovely to talk to. Food came pretty quick and was delicious as always. Portions are amazing for the price. I come every few months to catch up with my friend and it’s just such a lovely, cozy place to sit and

We were a party of 15, the table was set up very festive, cannot fault the food, plenty of it, hot & so tasty. Service was excellent, some paid cash some paid on card but the staff were very patient with us even though this took time,.We will defineately be back next year for our works meal as we all had such a wonderful time.Thank you all staff involved 15 very happy customers from Wheatsheaf court care home ?

Very disappointed. It took ages for the waitress to take our order even though we were first to be seated. The food took ages to arrive, some of it was burnt and much of it was cold. We waited 20 minutes to order desserts and drinks, we gave up and I paid the bill at the bar. The staff looked scruffy, no uniform which doesn't look professional. We have had some lovely meals here over the years but after this visit I won't be rushing back. We were very disappointed overall.

The Middlemore Farm is a great little pub / restaurant tucked away in a housing estate in Daventry.Set in a beautiful barn setting, the atmosphere is both welcoming and relaxing. The quality of the food and drink is amazing & the attentiveness of the friendly staff really make this a pleasurable visit.Would highly recommend to anyone in the area! ??

Service = appalling! Hour and half for food to turn up.Food = cold, stale, chips rock hard, the flat bread had clearly been microwaved. The halloumi skewers, is one skewer with 3 tiny squares on.Don’t book for a roast dinner, as it’s pointless as it’s not available anyway, half the menu wasn’t available. For the price you pay, the food is awful and the service is something else.We came last weekend for a Xmas meal too, and the food was nicer. And there was 20 of us, was a bit of a shambles with service. But this time was a joke!Parking: Parking is probably the only good thing ?

The staff were very polite, informative and professional.. The food arrived very well presented, as described in menu and deliciously cooked. An all round fantastic experience.. definitely going again soon.. x

Food was OK, if a bit pretentious for my taste and not cheap either. Dessert was rather a let down, sounded great on the menu, even at £7.25, but was nothing special at all.I'd happily come back for another family get together meal, but wouldn't bother otherwise.Parking: At the entrance, disabled spots near the door.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating for children of all ages. Decent kids menu.
