The friendliest cafe in the ‘shireBefore we even go to the food, we want to talk about the service you’ll get at Wythmails. The owner radiates positive vibes - like a warm hug. You’ll feel welcomed straightaway you’ve got yourselves regular locals from now on!Foodie business:We both went for the veggie fry up, so we’ll break it down by the components.? fresh sourdough from @hambletonbake was a standout. Lovely bread!? ? Perfectly cooked mushrooms - no soggy stuff. Nicely charred tomatoes too.? Halloumi managed to stay soft & fluffy. Most the time we have this on a veggie fry up, it’ll be rubbery Also, hash browns were crisp.? Poached egg with a spot on runny yolk - bosh. Baked beans were standard. Would have loved if they tried a homemade style. Take it that extra level. As a whole, perfectly cooked veggie fry up. Every component was on point. Much better than most we’ve had!?cost: £15 each (fry up + coffee)—☕️ Coffee is delicious - highly recommend.Solid 9/10 for the whole experience: food, coffee and service. The outdoor area is huge and will be lovely in Spring & Summer.Give this place a whirl and get away from Costa & Starbucks plz!Big loveeeee

Gorgeous local spot with amazing food and coffee. This is always my go to place! The staff are super friendly, cannot fault the customer service.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for dietary restrictions.Parking: A couple of spots outside (including a disabled space), but if they are full you can park at the pub opposite as the owners of Wythmails also own the QA.

Lovely lunch with a friend. A short wait to get a table but well worth the wait as the food was lovely, and the staff very friendly.

Decide to take a trip to Wythmails this week to sample the breakfast. Welcomed by friendly staff, and offered a menu. Nice and clean inside and cosy. It got busy very quickly.I ordered the full English with a black coffee. Whilst waiting, i noticed they had a wonderful selection of cakes, pastries, coffee and sauces and offered a takeaway service too.Coffee was nice quality and strong. Breakfast arrived, which i paid £15 and some change including the coffee. This is the most expensive so far. So you get 1 sausage, 2 slices of bacon, 2 hashs browns, beans and a small poached egg with a slice of toast. The sausage was just full of meat and was excellent quality, the last time i had a sausage like that was when i was a young. The bacon also excellent quality and tasted lovely. The small poached egg was super nice but very small, and the beans very tasty too as was the hash browns. Overall your paying for the quality ingredients, they offer black pudding and mushrooms as extras. I think personally they could give one as part of the breakfast. Also, i think they could give 2 eggs or 2 sausages for the price you pay. As i said, super quality ingredients and nice for a treat now and then. I will definitely be back to try one of their superb looking Burgers. Lovely place to visit with lovely staff. You can park in the pub car park, so plenty of room, and lots of seating outside, so would be nice in the warmer months, but really worth a visit to this lovely village of Orlingbury.

We came as a couple for a New Year’s Day meal and we really enjoyed our afternoon. The food tasted amazing and the staff were really friendly. Would recommend to others and return again in the future.
