Had a lovely Turkey dinner at Weedon. The food was very good, service from Harvey was excellent. Very helpful, caring, friendly.

A lovely Xmas day lunch for a family party, excellent waiting staff, hot food and nice relaxing surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed on a very festive day thank you.

Dreadful meal. Spent £70 on 4 main meals. The pie came out freezing cold but with a hot plate, chips, and peas. Sent it back for it to come back in the same condition 1 minute later after being super heated in the microwave. Took the pie back again as i havent paid £16 for a microwave pie, only to be told whats wrong with microwaving it!!! Service was dreadful, no customer service skills what so ever and it showed! Not a smile, no empathy, no one came to check on whether our meal was ok, felt judged and rushed! Empty pub, no atmosphere and poor food! Don't attend! Go to the crossroads or the plume of feather if eating in weedon!

Didn’t try the food but drinks were good. Service was unwelcoming, probably why we didn’t stay for food. Other pubs in the area much friendlier. Like it’s historic atmosphere.

Friendly and accommodating staff and manager. Great atmosphere especially when events are on its busy. Reasonably priced and one of the best pubs in the village. Highly recommend especially for their 3 course meals. Good family pub also.

As one of only 2 tables occupied there was very little atmosphere, ordering every thing at the bar was incovenient especially as 2 staff members appeared to be doing very little. The food when it arrived was not very hot and the plates were also cold. We decided against a sweet but ordered coffees which took forever to arrive such that we had to collect them and they also were only warm.A very disappointing experience.

Urgently needs new management and ownership. The staff are generally friendly but their hands are tied. Food is just ok, drink quite pricey. Such great potential and a piece of history going to waste.

Visited for a hotel stay one night. Rooms were reasonably priced and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a classic big pub with ample space, pool table and a kitchen doing your expected food standards. Massive car park. A good place to park up and stay if your heading somewhere.

No interest from any staff members. No customer service.App drink orders ignored. Had to go to bar to ask where they then searched the bin for tickets; not once but twice.Only table dining.Waiter couldn't have been less interested. Had to ask for cutlery twice before he remembered or mustered the energy to get us some.No check back. No one cleared plates even an hour after we had finished.4 had lamb special. All presented differently and "seasoned vegetables" were just peas?!Lazy presentation from kitchen. Minimal effort.Left at 10pm and there was only 1 man drinking in the bar. Place was empty. No music. No atmosphere. We used to live in weedon and used to come regularly. What's happened. Wouldn't recommend and not likely to return.

Really enjoyed my recent visit to the Heart of England pub. Went in on a Wednesday evening it wasn't too busy. Served quickly, laid back atmosphere. My server Theo, was really helpful and was able to recommend items on the menu. Love the fact they have lighter/low carb options on the menu.

We popped in for a drink in the afternoon and we're so impressed with the staff and venue we decided to eat at the Heart of England in the afternoon.Edit greeted us so warmly-she was super friendly and so cheerful. There's a nice selection of beer and plenty of seating too.The food was exactly what we wanted-good quality and home cooked. We both chose the steak and ale pie.It was absolutely delicious. If you are in the area, the Heart of England is definitely worth a visit. No doubt we will return.

Very cheap place and clean. My girlfriend and I were there for dinner and we really liked the place. We had a little problem, but Edit, one of the employees, was very kind and helpful, for which we are very grateful. The food was also very delicious, I think we will visit the place again. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Had Sunday lunch here last week. The go large option on the roast beef was great value for money. Great atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. We was served by penny who was extremely helpful. Will definitely be back.
