First time visitor. Food quality is very good, portion size large for the price, cafe is nice and clean, staff too follow good hygiene practices. Being a local lad I am surprised I've missed this little gem, will return sometime soon .

I went in to Cafe 44 on a whim, which was confirmed by a local person outsude. My veggie breakfast was enormous and very tasty. Staff were really friendly and knew all their customers' names. Lovely atmosphere and very caring service. Unpretentious surroundings, but it's the welcome and the yummy food that makes it. Thank you. I'll be back! Happy to recommend Cafe 44. MaggieVegetarian options: Good range and chef accommodating.

Outstanding breakfast in a box take away food. The Missus had a quarterpound burger with all the trimmings and she was very happy indeed. We get take out from here all the time as its a reliable source of sustenance to blow the hunger pangs right Outta the window!!! Try it, you won't be disappointedParking: Parking available outside on Cambridge St but not many spaces.

Everytime we have been we have always enjoyed the food and friendly service from the staff! My favourite things on their menu so far I must say is their chilli and their hot chocolate! Absolutely delicious. My kids love their nuggets and chips and my husband enjoys their burgers. Everytime we go here the plates are always cleared! Which is brilliant as my kids can be funny and if they ain't enjoying a meal they wouldn't eat it (they don't even eat all of Mccies up most of the time!!) Keep up the great work and delicious food!Only gave atmosphere a 4 star as it is difficult to get a pram in there also always seems to be full when we turn up in town so can't always get in but this can't be helped as it is a place and clearly loved by many!! And I don't blame them!
