Was umming and ahhing about what to to do for tea tonight when I saw on Google maps the Shunters, Impressed the bbq ribs were excellent and the chips and slaw were too big to eat. Very busy place staff worked off their feet but obviously we'll trained and to boot the good parking next to it what more could you ask for.

Food is great, the issues comes in when you try and get delivery, doesn't matter what time you order, it always take an hour and a half or more. Then when it turns up you're extremely lucky if all the food you ordered is there. Have had multiple occasions where I've gotten fed up and rang and it turns out my order has been completely missed. Also "their app" sends an automated email to say the food has been dispatched even when it hasn't cause as workers say "oh the apps automatic we don't control that" which is infuriating. Look don't get me wrong it's great if you're sitting in or order for collection but avoid ordering for delivery.

First time trying here on the recommendation of a friend and my goodness it was exceptional. Fish was fresh and well battered. Chips were dry (which is great) and a good size. Large portion. Well priced and wonderful staff. Loads of tables to sit at. Plenty of salt and vinegar! Wonderful. I'll be back soon!!

Phoned in an order & the lady who took my order was lovely & good craic. The food was absolutely fantastic. Two gigantic, tasty chicken burgers & a portion of chips that could feed three men & a wee lad! Felt like I’d robber the owner as it was well under £10. A fantastic eaterie!Parking: Loads of free parking ?

Batter too thick, soft and only partly cooked, but the fish overcooked.Chips undercooked. Binned the lot.
Great food and very good specials on during week . There pizzas are best in town . Would highly recommend trying.

Ordered 2 hours ago. Food was on way 35 mins prior to me writing this, if it was delivered by foot it would be here quicker. And I paid £3 delivery fee. Sorry excuse from yet anotherso-called takeaway in this town
