A nice place, we arrived a bit late and they let us in no problem. Rooms above the pub. It was off season so there was only hot water at specific times which I did not like. The heat took a while to warm up the rooms. However, it was clean and convenient and the publican was very nice.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during the Open Golf Championship at Portrush. We really enjoyed Randalstown itself. It was a quaint, peaceful location, clean with numerous flowers on display around the town. As for Lavertys, there was a mistake on the original booking which was swiftly resolved. We were room only. I'm not sure if establishment offers breakfast or evening meal. There was a restaurant at the back of the building but it didn't seem to be used. The room was basic and slightly outdated. But it was ok for our requirements. The bed was too soft for our liking but maybe ok for others. The staff were friendly. We paid £60 a night room only for 2 people. There are quite a few other pubs in the town and a small friendly cafe too across the road. The people in Randalstown were really friendly. We caught a local bus to Antrim and from there we went by train to Portrush and Belfast. The last bus back from Antrim was about 18.30pm.

Dropped in for lunch today with my other half. Food was outstanding and service to match. Hidden gem in Randalstown. Definitely recommend. Great job Michael and Michelle!
Went for the first time on Friday evening (I'm from the town and know it's been open for a while but heard poor reports from the get go. Only went because Heffrons across the street - where I wouldn't go often for food had stopped serving and didn't want to do takeaway/travel) & literally could not fault our meal, choice or service. My Dad and I went for the steak platter and the triple cooked chips were 👌👌👌 The two girls I'd heard bad reports from - one is vegetarian and VERY fussy & the other turned vegetarian a matter of weeks after trying the Bull so maybe the veggie menu is limited? I deff will be back to try the veggie pasta (spinach and goats cheese, I think ðŸ˜) & the Thai chicken curry. Dream. *EDIT, I forgot to add that because we got the steak platter and I ordered well done, the Chef sent out a complimentary starter because it was going to take a long time - took no longer than I would usually wait and was beautiful.

The service was shambolic waited over 30 minutes before even asked what we was drinking then after ordering we waited a further 35 minutes and still no starter so we cancelled our order and left.Really bad would not be back.

What a grwat lace to stay in the heart of Glasgow. The junior suites was fabulous and the staff were the most friendliest and helpful you could ever want. Breakfast was 5 star. We will defiantly return. Many thanks to all.
