Flies were in the glass cabinet where the pastries & muffins where & all around the shop. The place was filthy

Had to pull the staff up on handing out dirty trays..they were clearly visible not having been wiped..handed a glass for my cola that not only wasn't washed properly but chipped along the rim..dangerous..not once did the 2 young girls say to customers enjoy your food..just till transaction and nothing else..need retrained on looking out for dirty trays and glasses and customer interaction...dissapointed

We come here every week at least twice. I love the fresh food. The staff are excellent and efficient at their work. They are very friendly which i expect from anywhere i go. The manager is hard working and is a credit to the shop.

While looking forward to my tea and muffin, I was put off while sitting observing the dirt on the floor and very messy tables, while the tea and cake was okay it was overly priced, would definitely not go back.

First time here for lunch today. Coffee was no more than alright (quite weak) and couldn't believe I had to send toastie and panini back twice as they were cold. Will have to be honest ... won't be back. High prices for average products and poor service.

Stood in a queue for 20 minutes whilst ALL young staff acted like headless chickens behind counter. There were about 8 customers in front of us, and the staff dodged about clueless. When we got to order, they couldn't find flavour for popcorn latte. Went for gingerbread latte instead. Cream was ordered to top it off. When order arrived, no cream on latte. Other drinks ordered were fine and muffins were very good. All let down by poorly trained young staff, with no adult supervision. Need to really improve. Costa or Starbucks next time.

Too many tables and chairs in a small space... Hard to manoeuvre a wheelchair. Staff were cleaning the floor so half the coffee shop was out of bounds. Felt unwelcome.

They refused to give me boiling water to make a bottle for my 3 month old baby. Even when I said, can I have a cup of tea then, just don’t put a teabag in it, they said no because they now know I want it for the bottle.. like WHAT? An absolute joke of a cafe. I went down to Costa instead who happily helped me out & carried my boiling water & coffee down to a table for me as I had my hands full.

A pleasant option to the normal branded coffee shops within the Boulevard Complex. The muffins are delicious and probably the best sell with some nice toppings. But there is a good lunch menu if your in to toasted/heated snacks. Coffee was nice and hot and place was busy (Sat). The staff very pleasant and all busy. Not the cheapest of menus

The other day my husband and I visited bbs. We had a lovely experience! The coffee was great, the muffins speak for themselves, and the food was delicious. The staff was committed to great service and were very friendly and attentive. There was not a dirty table in sight, behind the counter was spotless, I could clearly see the staff working hard to maintain a clean hygienic environment. The staff were very welcoming and is one of the reasons as to why I will be returning. Overall it’s 5 stars well deserved. Thank you for the lovely service!!! ☺️

Hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. Worktops for food preparation and coffee machines were blatantly dirty, as were the floors. The toilet was disgusting. Food was ok. It has the potential to be a lovely cafe conveniently located but it would need a deep clean first!!

We think is the Bakers & Baristas that we visited in Jul 2022 as the address is the same. Three light lunches were required and Bakers & Baristas seemed the best choice in this outlet centre. However, they were having problems and circumstances forced them to provide – effectively – a take away service only. So there was no normal crockery and cutlery but paper wrappings and paper cups. I suspect that they were down on staff as well as I had to clear a table myself for our meals. There was also a reduced choice of items but that was due to our being fairly late in for our lunches. That said, the coffee was excellent and there was nothing wrong with the teas either. My tuna melt was fine but the cheese and ham melt was fairly tasteless and my wife didn’t want to finish her ham and cheese. So not good.

Called in for coffee and the queue was ridiculous as there was one person serving. Other staff were hanging around and after eventually being served we struggled to find a clean table. We were there for 30 minutes and not one table was cleared within this time and customers had to clear the tables themselves. Very rough place in my opinion.
