Wonderful night out in Valentine's Night. Favours of food were amazing (special shout out for Goats cheese starter and Daube of Beef main course). And service was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our meal, we went on a Saturday evening at 5:45pm. The food was top quality and tasted amazing, the menu had a lovely variety of things to choose from, service was 1st class and reasonably priced! We had: Starter: beef shin bon bon, mains: double patty burger and triple cooked chips, chicken supreme with a gorgeous pancetta and mushroom cream sauce, lovely veg and garlic mash, parmesan and truffle fries, 1 beer and 2 wine all for £66 and worth every penny! Very pleasant young people serving really good food. Furnishings are basic but everything is spotlessly clean. Extremely noisy; in hindsight, late on Saturday night was probably not the best choice for a peaceful dinner and I understand the difficulties the management faced in controlling this thoughtless behaviour. Some soft furnishings and a little more space between tables may help to absorb the din but even this would have had minimal effect.

Found this little gem just recently and will definitely be back. The food, staff and ambience of the restaurant is excellent.I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The early bird menu is brilliant as they have a very good choice for an early bird menu.Great value for money.

Amazing food, wine & service.We dined here last night for the first time & had a wonderful evening, food was superb. The squid to start was delicious- squid can be very hit or miss & this was very light and cooked well. My husband had the steak & asked for it medium & it was cooked perfectly. I went for the duck and it really was out of this world- Along with the Turkish delight cheesecake & a bottle of Argentinian Malbec - it really was 10/10. Service was first class too, the staff were so friendly & knowledgable. We will definitely be back - thanks for a fab night!

This was a special meal out at a restaurant that was recommended to us. The ambiance is lovely, a beautiful interior, friendly staff but the food was Very disappointing! The Goats cheese starter tasted processed, the sirloin steaks were flat and grey with a slip of pink in the middle and the creme brulee was too solid. The chips and truffle fries were the best bit of the meal. Not what we were expecting from a restaurant that has been getting great reviews and definitely not worth what we paid. We sadly won't be back.
