Ordered a kebab on naan bread. A portion of onion rings & a coke. New style chicken kebab absolutely terrible. Naan bread tough not risen, chicken mostly black & not edible & salad just consisted of shredded cabbage. The whole thing was only luke warm when it arrived & not cheap. How these guys get away with this I don’t know. If I could have driven I would have taken it straight back. In short meat burnt & tasted burnt onion rings no better. New Shawarma from spice island worst kebab I’ve ever had in Bangor & I’ve had a few.

After, you've been to the local bars, this place needs to be you go to place for pizza. I've just eaten the best pizza I've ever had. Owner is very hands on and always there to make sure the standard is kept up. The dough is made from scratch and the toppings are delightful. LOCALS you are so lucky to have this place on your door step. Forget Dominoes this is the place, they also deliver, so there is no excuses not to try the place. Thank you Ali, I'll be back soon, been coming for 6 years now and always enjoy every mouthful. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Support this local Gem... I wouldn't even give this a 1 star!! Absolutely shocking! Hour wait for wrong food then a hour again for order to be completely wrong and half my order missing!! then I was told it was my fault!! Absolutely disgusting food!! Whoever thinks there food is nice clearly haven't tried many takeaways!! Wait time terrible!! Food disgusting!! Staff absolutely shocking and horribly rude!! Will never ever buy again!! Ruined my night!! Literally!! Scumbags

Sadly I wont be back, used to love this spot. but good staff are gone and new guys whilst may be good people just dont cut it. Theyve also massively upped their prices as of dec 2022 my fav meal which used to be £5 is now £6.50 now these guys dont pay tax as they accept cash only, so not only were they probably rinsing a fortune charging £5 theyre now charging £6.50 pocketing an extra £1.50 for a tiny pizza which is a ~27% increase yet inflation is around 10% on average. its now nearly cheaper to just go to a restuarant or a cheaper takeaway like the other pizza spots on high street of which there are many

Food was fresh but masala sauce tasted different, preferred it before, was always more yoghurt taste. Tonight was not as enjoyable, very tangy defo different flavour . Please change it back ?

Thanks Jass, another great feed of pizzas that rescued family and friends hunger….some eat more slices they were entitled to !!! Both meat and veggies stuffed… PS. Driver very polite too…
I have used Spice Island for years and have had some average meals either through collection or delivery, however last nights 'effort' at a pizza was an absolute disgrace. I ordered a 12" Meat Feast and when it arrived the box felt like it had been cooked it's sister takeaway in Hucknall near Nottingham!! The pizza which is pictured below looks like has been cooked days ago and and should appear in an appeal to be saved. I'll never be back.

Milano Pizza...extremely thin and soggy pizza base...slice of ham, half a thinly sliced shroom spread over the top n a spot of cheese. Tasteless and definitely not good value 1/10.

I went to get a dobre kebab today and when I opened it there was hardly any meat in it? sizes were decent before but you are getting hardly anything now . Avoid
