Nice breakfast friendly staff and willing to vary the menu choices for us… omelet was fab. Good coffee. Not the cheapest breakfast in town but worth it for a treat.

The Guillemot Café is a lovely stop for lunch. My partner and i had a mocha and flat white and the coffee was so good. The accompanying french toast and Dirty bap hit the spot and arrived soon after we ordered. The staff were so lovely and attentive. The only negative was that the restaurant was a bit cold for me and i had to sit with my coat on the whole time. Otherwise, a lovely room and a nice time had.

Service was good; we didn’t have to wait long to get a table, to get our orders taken and to get our food served. As for the food itself, their bacon was too salty for my taste, the blueberry pancake was a bit lacking in flavour, but the rest of the food was good. The food servings were generous, no complaints there.

Excellent food, great coffee, and top customer service, this is a must go to, when in Bangor. The staff are very friendly and contribute to a family feel of the place. Highly recommended.

Came here for brunch today with the wife. Had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table as it was so busy but staff were very quick at turning tables and really friendly with great service. I had the “Captain Ahab’s breakfast” (cooked breakfast) and my wife had the “eggs on fire”. Both meals were great and really tasty, however the “eggs on fire” really are on fire..they were very spicy as the name suggested!! The table we ate at was maybe a wee bit low if you are sat on the couch but it’s just a minor issue and won’t stop us from coming again! Would definitely recommend. Coffee was incredible as well!

First time in this lovely little Bistro. Food was delicious and the staff so helpful. Would definitely return. However, a little suggestion... change the tea towel that you clean the cutlery with. The one on display and hanging over the rail at the counter was more like a floor cloth. Just these small things that friends pick up when you have recommended your Bistro to them. Thank you.Kid-friendliness: Perfect for families

First visit, and definitely won’t be our last. Was worried we would struggle to get a table for our party of 8 on a Saturday lunchtime but got seated straightaway and everyone really enjoyed they food choices.

I love the cafe and the deli for lunch. Can be busy because the food is so good.If there's no room I visit the Deli next door for an amazing take out sausage roll and salads.Vegetarian options: Catering for most needs.

We had 2 sets of pancakes and 2 pots of tea and it was £27!!! Ridiculously expensive considering the pancakes were the smallest pancakes I have ever had when eating out for lunch. Not even a particularly satisfying portion, hungry again before dinner. The staff were lovely, but we spilled some milk and no one came over to offer any help or even extra napkins to help clean up. I had to go over to the counter and pick up the blue roll myself and even then still no help was offered to wipe up. Very disappointed considering we had heard good things. Won't be back

I've been coming here occasionally for five years now. Theres a vibe about the place. Crews from the nearby Bangor mariner often frequent and it's often busy. However service is always excellent, delivered with a friendly smile with genuine warmth. The food is of premium quality and cooked to perfection. I look forward to each visit and have never been disappointed. The Deli part is excellent too. Even after a full " Captain Ahabs" breakfast I still find myself tempted by the multiple goodies on offer.

My husband and l went to the Guillemot on Monday morning for breakfast and l could not rate it highly enough. The girl was so nice, nothing any bother and the food was awesome! Service was quick and the food and 'coffee' came hot. Lovely place and atmosphere and very reasonably priced too, would highly recommend this special place and will most definately be back. Perfect end to a fab weekend in Bangor/Ballyholme ?

A cosy little place down by the harbour in Bangor. Great atmosphere, great music and even better food! The vegan breakfast is awesome! Friendy staff and just a lovely place to eat and hang out.

I’ve been going to this cafe on and off for a coffee as a treat for years and always recommended them. But I’ve noticed in the last year each time I go the price goes up and last week they charged me £7 for an oat milk cappuccino and scone! I queried if there was a mistake and they just said that’s the price. I’m not sure if I’ll go back again.

Busy place. Got the worst seat in the place, not to far away from toilets... Service slow and not very helpful. Food average. Nothing special or wow that would rush back.
