Our family have been faithfully coming here anytime we fancy a chippy for our takeaway for years, and I mean years, probably nearing a decade now and they have never disappointed. At this point I have tried every menu item they have and the only one I wasn’t a fan off was the pastie, but that’s just because they are not for me as my mum loves them. They have never, gotten an order wrong, burnt the food or made any sort of mistake, which is why we love the Salt House. If you’re planning on getting a takeaway, you should defiantly go here. You won’t be disappointed.Parking: There are around 5 spots on the street and a smallish car park next to the spar which can be busy but is usually alrightKid-friendliness: The Salt House make very tasty kids meals which are just the adult meals but smaller and cheaper which come in a friendly box with animals on it.

Bought large chip. Tonight £5.00 from this local chippy BIG MISTAKE got home annd had to bring it back talk about re heated chips omg must have been re cooked 2or 3 times .disgrace if you can't get chips right in a chippy thers no hope for the rest of the food . Won't be back there .shame on

Chips were soggy. Batter on sausages was soggy. Supposed to be new management. Everything tasted reheated. Won't be back! Placed order on app. Never put it on until we went to collect which is strange considering you pay up front! Who pays for an order to not collect it? ?

Me and my 2 friends were at the Rathmore salt house, me and one of my friends got a chip,a lady that worked there asked us if we wanted a free dip with it, and asked my other friend if he wanted a chip for free,great service

My order was put in & after 30 min wait the person after me with a similar order got served before me.I told young girl this & she apologised & offered me an extra sausage & chip! The young man who was frying food forgot to cook my original sausage so I had another 15 min wait and all while my fish& pastie were waiting! I was so looking forward to a crispy battered fish, pastie supper & sausage, sadly when I finally got home it was a very soggy fish & pastie with enough chips to feed an army to make up for the mistake but all I wanted was my original order! Get your act together as I won't be going back!

Waited for 10 minutes while it was cooked but tasted as if it was left over from earlier. All batter and very little fish. Tried phoning at 8.10 pm to give feedback but phone not answered …
