Expensive Cheap nasty slop. Not sure why this place has good reviews. Waitress was lovely in fairness but food was soo bad and so expensive. My taste buds were assaulted, as was my wallet. The lunch for two cost 65 euro. I had lamb that tasted like it had been lying about in a dirty old fridge for way too long, It was all a luke warm mushy insult. I'm a good cook and can't afford to eat out too often. We were on our holidays so this was part of the treat. So disappointing to be served such yuk. Also if you are going to charge expensive prices, don't insult customers with cheap deep fried frozen wedges that taste like they were bought fresh from Iceland. Soooo unhealthy and unpleasant.

Delightful dining experience. Had lunch here with my two sisters. Food and service excellent and would eat here again. Looked after by the charming Imelda. aka Esmeralda I believe ! lived up to all the earlier reviews. Didn't get to meet James. Another time.George

OK but... We both ordered Caesar Salad - which came on a strange, long, narrow plate, about 12" long and 3" wide. It was totally inappropriate for a salad and the amount it held also represented pretty poor value for money. Also the salad itself was dominated by chopped red onion. Very average cheese board but other desserts looked OK.

Our family had a wonderful lunch here. Esmeralda was wonderful! We loved chatting with her :) Great vegetarian options, also we have a daughter with a nut allergy and they were super accommodating. My husband said it was the best Shepard’s pie he’s ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough!

First time at this restaurant but it certainly will not be my last. I brought my mum out for dinner as I had heard they do the best lamb in Belfast. This was absolutely the case. The presentation, taste, value for money, ambiance and service makes this my new favourite place. Looking forward to my next visit in April.
Beautiful food and first class service from James. Really couldn’t fault any of it. Went for my sons 21st and they made it really special.

Blu restaurant is a hidden gem and such an incredible find! From the booking James was incredible and so helpful and the food, music and atmosphere were first class. We were going to Elton John in the Odyssey so parked the car there. It was only a 10 minute walk over the new pedestrian bridge and up high street to get to blu (opposite fresh garbage). I would definitely recommend you book it if seeing a show at the odyssey. We had a cocktail each, mussels, pate, gourmet scampi and creme brulee and all were first class. The flavours and presentation were incredible. I wish james the very best. He is so attentive and really deserves this place to be a roaring success. This is a special restaurant and we will definitely be back!

Disappointing experienceMeats were fine but sides were poor. Mash potatoes. Garlic cubes. Veg and crumbles for desert were horrendous as they tasted as if the chef used old stale butter or margarine in their preparation.The food flavour and quality did not justify the cost. Sorry will not be eating at Blu again
