Was looking forward to eating here, and went specially. But the experience made Mcdonalds look good. Yes, the burger meat was better quality and larger in quantity, but the burger or the cheese had an odd taste. The salad in the burger was on the bottom, soggy, warm and scarce. The hand cut fries were small bits of tasteless cardboard. Waitresses were undertrained and anxious. The restaurant has an echoey, canteen feel. Didn't finish the food, and left early.

First visit, the guy wearing the vest serving us was a bit abrupt and didn’t explain the the ordering very well, felt as though we were holding him back, wasn’t busy either. The food arrived fast enough and it was just ok. Expensive enough for what it is.

Glorified McDonald's burger if I'm totally honest. Nothing wrong with it but nothing really special. Burgers are my favourite food so I might be a bit harsh but when I bit into it I immediately thought of a McDonald's hamburger, the taste was fairly identical. Couldn't help but be a bit disappointed since I'd waited years to visit Bunsen after seeing so many good reviews. Just a really simple burger if that's your sort of thing, not sure how they built a restaurant chain out of it but fair play.

Double cheeseburger/hand cut chips - 10/10- Oozing with flavour. No need for large menu with burger/chips are so good. Staff very friendly. Very impressed

Amazing burgers. You won't be disappointed with the size and flavour. Cooked perfectly. HUGE sides. Beer. What more could you want? ] So good we visited twice in our 4-day trip to Belfast. A good price for the quality and was happy to pay it. Good service too.

A great burger place. A very simple menu, lots of atmosphere. It was busy, so we had to wait around 20 min before we received a text telling us that our table was ready. When asked, they wrapped our burgers in lettuce leaves rather than having a bun. The service was friendly and efficient. A nice meal out.

Fantastic burger place known for their buns and they did not disappoint! They ask you how you want your burger cooked, and have several fry shape options. Overall delicious stop in a very cute part of the city.

Absolute Joke asked for fried onions was told couldn't do it in case of cross contamination so had to walk out if they can't fry an onion what chance for the £8.25 cheeseburger being any good. Visited Botanic branch

But quirky. Menu on a business card! But the burger, fries and beer was spot on. Lovely. Perfect after a few drinks on a Saturday and, despite it being peak summer, no problem getting a table. Very enjoyable experience.

No extensive menu, this place provides great quality, freshly prepared burgers. If you don't want a burger, don't come. If you love burgers and are in Belfast make sure you try this place! Friendly staff, industrial canteen style restaurant, drinks menu small but easily quaffable.

This place absolutely slaps!Great chilled atmosphere. Lovely fast, friendly service.And most importantly amazing, simple food done to a very high standard. If you're after something comforting after a long day of travelling or at the office look no further. Grab a beer and a double cheese with some fries and feel your woes slip away.

This place was just okay. It was nicely decorated, clean, and had friendly, polite staff. Unfortunately, they only had one cider choice on the menu, and there wasn't any in stock when I was there. The food was just okay. For the price, I was expecting higher quality burgers. They were better than a fast food restaurant, but not a patch on somewhere like Gourmet Burger Kitchen. It was fine, but nothing special and I probably wouldn't return. It just depends what you're looking for, I guess.
