They must of turned themselves around reading some of the previous reviews, because the toilets were spotless and the service was brilliant. The workers here are the friendliest I’ve encountered for a cafe Nero (but then again I’m a Londoner so perhaps the bar is to the floor ?) anyway, made my day as a solo traveller.

Disappointing experience. Had run out of tea- only decaf tea available. Bought a chilli chicken sandwich which was heated up but barely. The inside of the sandwich was still cold and the bread barely toasted. Noticed after that the sandwich fridge was apparently not actually working but food was still in the fridge so must question the safety of sandwiches? Toilets downstairs were out of order so were directed to the upstairs toilets which were unclean and severely lacking- no soap, toilet paper loose (and dirty) on the cistern, hand dryer didn’t work. Shop itself is untidy and many unclean tables. Needs work.
I have a negative experience. I paid 2 different prices for the same drink twice. The staff lied to me and didn't refund my money. I am disappointed.

Called into here today male staff member slammed front door in face as I was entering when he was walking in obviously this staff member wasn't in best form,, this cafe nero isn't clean from dirty seats, floors etc ??

Poor all around. A bit dirty in both the dining area as well as the bathroom. Poor value as the pre made sandwiches were overpriced. As well, one of the sandwiches was mislabelled resulting in an incorrect choice. We brought this to the attention of the staff who did absolutely nothing. Staff at the time on Monday October 10 2022 at 2 pm at the Belfast store near City Hall could care less. Quite disappointing. Don’t waste your money supporting an establishment that does not seem to care.

Usually pretty busy, the regular lovely staff are always run off their feet, always welcoming and personable. Then when they’re taking on students and trainees who have no real intention of working… (do you get subsidised for that) expect longer waits, while the regulars do the jobs of three people, You can expect a little longer a wait, ,understandably slower, especially when they (the newbies) are on their phones mutilating your latte milk to a burnt indigestible waste of money… whilst on their phones and in full in view of regular paying customers…Shout out to the proper staff! The dedicated without whom You wouldn’t have any customers ? ??
