“Cost an arm and a leg! But good all round experience for a special occasion.Really enjoyed having a front and centre view of the kitchen, didn’t really appreciate the frantic pace that is involved in a high end kitchen.Food was excellent.Went for the full works with wine parings included. After 2 cocktails and 5 glasses of wine the tasting experience was maybe lost somewhat, although completely self inflicted!”

“Another great find. Henry's pub and Jailhouse offer pub/sportsbar food with that old, very old feel. It is immaculate in decor and cleanliness while maintaining a medieval feel. Through the back doors, you'll connect to a restaurant known as the public house. A must-see and experience in Belfast.Bathrooms are on 3rd floor but there is an elevator.”

“Had a lovely meal here. Great food ,live music was brilliant and staff were lovely. Only reason why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 was had bother getting water for the table had to ask several times.”

“I sauntered into this establishment with my family friend and we’re greeted to a warm buzz of people and modern decor.I ordered the chefs special “chipotle” scampi as a starter. Although the word chipotle implies a spicy taste this dish was not at all, in fact the inverse as it was drenched in dressing. The family friend ordered Seafood Chowder. The portion size was generous but lacked flavour. She would have preferred more depth to the dish.I had the steak sandwich which was artfully prepared however it is not a sandwich as it lacks the top piece of bread. I think though that the dish was better for it as the amount of bread was just right. Steak was tender and chips werevery good. Crisp fluffy in the middle.Overall 4/5.”

“They put the premier league match on - only sound for half because there was live music on beforehand (really talented musician) felt a shame to have one interrupt the other. All in all a really nice, airy, space !”

“Amazing atmosphere. The live music wad great (Guy on a guitar and a girl singing a mix of covers of different genre's and artists from Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, to Dolly Parton)We were there early evening (around 7pm-9pm) so it wasn't rowdy or filled with drunks at that time. This may have been different later in the evening or on other nights, but at least from our time there, it was a really nice environment and would recommend it as a good bar for people who like to avoid the loud, crowded, drunken bars such as The Dirty Onion for example. The Tipsy Bird is more a place to spend a few hours enjoying good music and good drinks. The interior design has a really unique theme that feels like the inside of a bird house/greenhouse/summer Garden. It makes for the most unique bar in Belfast. The drinks are also great. Although their cocktail list is rather short, they are very unique. But they also offer any classic cocktail upon request.Overall, The Tipsy Bird has become my favourite Cocktail bar in Belfast and would highly recommend it.”
