“A great world class dining experience, professional service, expertise and the food as good as I’ve ever had. The photos are representative and every bite was a surprise and delicious. For my next comments keep in mind I’m 72 and 6’4” 218 lbs. The dining room is crowded and I felt squeezed, not claustrophobic but slightly uncomfortable. It was really noisy - granted my hearing is going but I heard very little of what the sommelier was saying (if you go get the wine pairing) and less of the floor staff explanation of the dishes. Maybe museum cards for older foodies? Lastly and I should have said something- I did indicate it was a special occasion and it was missed. Not a big deal however if you’re going to ask then you should follow through.
All in all - great place - no buyers remorse here.”

“Lovely Jazz bar, very relaxed vibe. Cocktails were lovely, the mixologist definitely knew what they were doing. Could of sat there all night listening to the music and having a few ( or many ) Cocktails. Had desserts, which were lovely. Would definitely return when in Belfast again.”

“Had an amazing experience here on Saturday! Everything we tried, from the chips and guac to the fish and cauliflower tacos, was fresh and delicious. The margarita menu is extensive, so there’s really something for everyone. I boldly tried the super spicy habanero one, and while I probably wouldn’t get it again, it was fun to try! Service was excellent too, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. My only regret is that we were too full for the famous churros! 100% recommend ???”

“? Review: Yugo – Where Vegans Flirt with Duck and Chopsticks Judge You Silently
Let me begin by saying: I went to Yugo with the full intention of being virtuous. Vegan. Clean. Enlightened. I was ready to embrace tofu like a long-lost cousin and whisper sweet nothings to a shiitake mushroom. But Yugo had other plans.
The menu arrived like a seductive novella—pages of umami-laced temptation. I scanned for the vegan options, found a few promising contenders (hello, miso aubergine), and then… there it was. Duck rice. Sitting there smugly, like it knew it was about to ruin my moral compass.
I tried to resist. I really did. But the waiter described it with such reverence, I half expected him to light a candle and sing. So I ordered it. Just to look at it. For research. For science.
And reader, I ate it.
The duck was tender enough to make a grown chef weep. The rice was sticky, savoury, and possibly blessed by a minor deity. I tried to pretend I was still vegan by ordering a side of edamame and giving it a pep talk.
The rest of the meal was a rollercoaster of flavour and identity crisis. The vegan dishes were genuinely delightful—crisp lotus root, zingy pickled daikon, and a tofu dish that didn’t taste like regret. But the duck rice haunted me in the best way.
Service was slick, the vibe was modern Tokyo meets Belfast cool, and the chopsticks judged me only a little when I dropped a mushroom into my lap.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Will I be vegan next time? Let’s just say I’ll try—unless the duck rice winks at me again.”

“One of the best drinking spots not just in the Cathedral Quarter, but Belfast. Really atmospheric and good selection of music. The ironic decor can be a little disconcerting at first and can get incredibly busy on Saturdays, but I find it cozy and the staff are great!”
