“We have never been hungry or disappointed. Monika runs a great establishment. Such hearty food full of love. A touch of tradition, a sprinkle of her quirkiness and lots of delicious flavours. The smoked food is delicious and her cakes are out of this world especially the cherry butter ?

“Visited with my husband. The restaurant is comfortable and the atmosphere is good, a nice vibe. We are 1 vegan 1 omni. The omni menu was excellent he was very happy. I did enjoy my meal but it wasn't as good as I had hoped from the recommendations I had received from other vegans.
Firstly the choice looks good but several dishes are listed as both a starter and a main. But most disappointing was the offer of sorbet and fruit for dessert❌️ (eye roll)...or a swap out on the panocotta. It takes very little effort to make a tasty vegan dessert.
Over all good but not excellent.

“We had a couple of starters to share, wings and a plate of poached eggs with a massive twist. Absolutely delicious, the flavours were absolutely superb and our taste buds were crying out for more. The mains were a beef burger, again not your run of the mill but with a twist, two chicken Maryland burgers that wee both tasty and unique, and a lamb dish. The chef really knows his stuff and I wish him well in this new location.”

“Outstanding people and great quality foods. Laura personally replaced an order for me a few years ago that a careless courier had lost, and she did this on Christmas Eve! That's a level of service above and beyond most independents, let alone the big chains.”

“Found this gem while strolling the streets of downtown Belfast. This place has it all! A great selection of various packaged food, a deli that makes fresh sandwiches, pastries, fresh cheeses to cut and an olive bar. Browsing the store, I saw that it's separated into sections. An Italian section with lots of varieties of pastas and sauces. Cookies from Italy and limoncello! There is a very small Mexican section, which in my opinion was pretty darn good for being in Ireland! They had tortillas, various dry chilies and hot sauces. Lots of cookies, candies, jams and jelly's and a very large tea selection. The cheese case and deli were loaded with so many choices, it was hard to choose! You can order food and eat at tables that are just outside the front of the store. A definite recommend but if you're a foodie, be prepared to be dazzled!”
