Our favourite lunch plate of prawn and egg salad was on sale again at lunchtime and was much enjoyed...excellent news! The gravadlax will have to wait for another time.

I made a mistake while queing for meatballs. The second assistant , a young woman, nodded to me when a customer left, so I walked around the first assistant who was serving someone to get served, thinking this was normal procedure. The first assistant, a young man, then unnecessarily loudly and aggressively ordered me to wait my turn and not jump the line . I was embarrassed in front of a long que of customers who also looked either embarrassed or annoyed at me for jumping past the other customer.. you could here a pin drop. As I obviously misread the situation,this could have been handled much more selectively and politely. I now assume the second assistant was only assisting this blurt. She looked equally embarrassed.

sliding diwn hill slowly- service is abysmal - people queues to the limits.. although litchrn appeared full of staff just one person serving onbeach side.. thebgirl on myvsidevvoupd barly reach the far side of the server! my oartner got veggi meat balls they were atrocious.. prices havevrisen sharply compared to pre-covid.. butvstandards certainly dropped!

Worst cafe I have ever been too. Didn't want hot dinner so went for other options. Appalling lack of choice. Ended up with dried out scone, no jam. Wife got manky ham and cheese sandwich. Only 3 left at 1.15 in the day. Bread stale. No wheaten bread left. Cafe Manageress approached but totally disinterested, just couldn't care less. Absolute disgrace. How do people like that get jobs
I got the family a meal in the restaurant and it was absolutely terrible. The chips were cold fish cold potatoes cold and the soup was cold then to crown it all off I got a hair in my wheaten bread. I went home disgusted . Needless to say if they don't get their act together they are going to lose a lot of customers

Well never having been in the ikea restaurant before... I am a horror and fizzy juice kinda guy thought I would give it a go. Food was excellent yes was miffed at having to pay for pigs in blankets but they were darn tasty and the dinner, Peggy's and black forest gateau came it under a tenner. Result!

For convenience, value for money and friendly service its 5 star. Selection of food is not expansive but nutritious and pretty good quality. Done the Swedish way with layout more self service style saving labour and therefore costs. Very practical with self service microwave, drinks machines. Plenty of electric sockets for plug and play/work with free wi-fi. Icing on the cake at Belfast location is that the restaurant windows overlook Belfast City Airport runway with views across to Cave Hill Mountains. And free coffee weekdays for family members.
