Pubs in Belfast
“Great whiskey selection. Fast and friendly service. Seats are get them on your own, but standing isn't too bad if there for just a drink or two.”
“Lovely and comfortable pub in East Belfast. Very friendly and quick service even when it is busy. Very affordable. Don’t bring up politics.”
“Have not been in the Mountain View Tavern in many many years. It looks like it has been refurbished. Great Pub with friendly helpful ”
“Our second visit to herculean bar and once again we weren't disappointed. Food and service were both amazing. My wife had the steak and Bushmills pie and I had the chicken and ham pie.”
“Always a great atmosphere. Cheap pints. Best service and Guinness you'll find anywhere in Belfast.”
“Mellow blue but picked wrong time to go in ..hope everything went okay and your mate hit the happy trail...”
“Great music club in a Saturday afternoon. Heard the awesome Chris Taplin band. Such a tight groove of blues and in all styles!”
“Good food and friendly atmosphere. Restaurant was given advance notice of needing gluten-free food for one of our party and was able to switch ingredients on selected menu options to make them available as a gluten-free alternative. Notification in advance allowed them to ensure that the alternative ingredients were at hand. Great service!”
“Great corner pub in the Clarendon Dock area. Always something interesting on tap and friendly bar staff. Comfortable sitting inside and there's a beer garden out the back. There's a kitchen but I haven't tried the food - next time!”
“Belfast is blessed with some of best pubs anywhere, and the Dark Horse is definitely among them. Like so many pubs in Belfast, its interior is a beautiful Victorian building with wood panelling, plush chairs, polished brass, ornate mirrors, and fancy chandeliers. Also notable is its back courtyard which features tongue-and-cheek murals of Irish history in a way that only Belfast could do. Moreover, the staff are very warm and friendly. The selection of beers is alright, and they do of course serve the black stuff. Unsurprisingly, the pub is a little expensive by Belfast standards, but actually the costs are decent by UK standards, and I couldn't recommend this (or most any pub in the cathedral quarter) enough”
