Stumbled across this place with my daughter and wife on our first visit to Belfast a few weeks ago. This place is amazing! .. when the guy serving asked if he could help I said "yes move to Birmingham" (near to where we live) .. we purchased the Belfast Gator and it was great but all the food looks amazing. If we're ever in Belfast again we will return!

Our daughter & wife ordered the cheese tower rather than a wedding cake for their wedding early November & we’re delighted with it. The cheese, chutneys etc along with the presentation was exceptional & was probably the most photographed item other than the two girls on the day. Thank you isn’t enough for the service from Sawyers ……..?

Felt incensed at our experience today. Appalling we bought 2 ciabatta filled rolls which tasted bland and like sawdust. I don’t know who gives good reviews but ours was not good.?ciabattas were hardly warmed or toasted and given to us within minutes after payment. We ate a few morsels and left the rest as food was so bad and not worth taking home. Glass of wine was good. Italian latte was v weak and only warmed and certainly a poor coffee. Not a proper latte. Disappointed as our day out to belfast. Waste of time and money. Don’t go there.

No visit to Belfast city centre is complete without a look into Sawers. Having shopped there occasionally over the years for their speciality, international gourmet treats, we decided to try lunch al fresco at their tables outside. The seafood platter was just incredible and great value compared with some alternatives in the city. Highly recommended!

Treasure trove here for cheeselovers and foodies. Lovely sandwiches and a great selection of fresh cakes and baked goods . You can eat them at the tables outside or as takeway . The sandwiches are filled with fresh food and are very tasty . An authentic experience . Lovey friendly staff.

I have walked past this deli numerous times never realising it did such beautiful sandwiches and salads. Great lunch and at great prices! Great experience I will be back.

What a great place. This shop has a great grocery selection, awesome deli and cheese counter and dessert, and a fantastic sandwich shop all in one. Huge sanwhiches for the price and a huge menu of great options. Would highly recommend if you want a great hot/cold sandwich with outdoor seating.

My brother and I discovered this treasure trove of gourmet delights. We shared a sandwich and it came on 2 plates looking and tasting delicious. It was a pity we were only in Belfast for a short time the store is full of quirky and delicious items. The staff were so helpful and if you are in Belfast make your way to Sawers.

Our table was overcharged for a sandwich. When we queried it we were told (condescendingly) that they used flat bread for a sandwich which was more expensive than the ciabatta bread as described on the menu. Apparently their regular customers 'know to assume' they have run out of bread when they are billed extra... interesting policy. While we were there we also noticed the tables either side of us had complaints too. We really wouldn't have minded paying extra had staff actually bothered to explain that they had run out of ciabatta and to make the sandwich with the flat bread it would be more expensive. We were refunded in cash eventually but no word of an apology or admitting their mistake. In fact the man dealing with our complaint kept saying 'you're alright' in a tone that would suggest we should be apologising to him! Rude! The fact is you are taking liberties with customers' bills. You are in the wrong and this is very dishonest practice. Overall, we found the younger staff very polite, friendly and professional and the food was also very good. Unfortunately we will not return to or recommend this business to anyone due to the ignorance of the two older staff members working on Saturday 11th February.

Holy Moly .....the sandwiches here are absolutely astonishing. Flavour packed and exceptional value for money. You won't eat for the rest of the day after one of these. Always stop off here when we are over in Belfast.

So it's the night before Christmas and after having spent £70 in Sawers on thursday for one of those make up yourself hampers for my nephew and his wife. I'm putting it together and discover the expensive vintage cheddar I bought to go with the chutneys etc isn't in the bag and has obviously been left out at the till so all chutney no cheese....kinda ruined it! I know the shop was jam packed which is why you're getting a 3 and not a one. Very disappointed!!

Best shop in Belfast! Selection of goods they stock is second to none. The fresh food is wonderful too. Have had fresh sandwiches and tray bakes from here and they are always top notch.
