This was great from start to finish. We had the 12 Oz sirloin and the 8 Oz rump steak which came out on a hot stone which allowed us to cook them perfectly to our liking. The pepper sauce was one of the best I have had, a great mixture of spicy and rich. We had the skin on fries as sides and also the surf and turf and the portion sizes were generous. You could share fries if you weren't very hungry. Even the desserts were delicious and great portion sizes. The French Martina was also delicious. The sticky toffee pudding came in a lake of warm caramel sauce. It's rare you can go to a restaurant and have everything hit high notes. The atmosphere was great as well, the restaurant comfortably warm and the service efficient. I will definitely be back here again.

Excellent Steakhouse, best in Belfast! Wonderful service and phenomenal steaks! Loved the hot stone presentation and pre seared filet, it was perfect. Do NOT skip dessert, the sticky toffee pudding with house made butterscotch was to die for WOWWWWW probably the best dessert I've ever had in all of my travels. Would absolutely go back next time we cross the pond.

Being a returning customer over the years, tonight, was a complete disappointment to say the least. It was my dad’s 60th and this was meant to be a special night for him and believing it’s worth the 3 hours driving. Our steaks were extremely poor quality and never came out in the stone (the waiter said it was our fault as we should have asked for it on the stone) which was not explained properly (didn’t try to give us a stone either). They then forgot to bring out my dad’s birthday dessert which I had requested twice (online and in person). They also forgot to bring us the dessert menu and it wasn’t busy. When having complained to the manager - they took my money and replied with “we are just having a bad day”. I am completely understanding of having a bad day but they had not planned to compensate us at all for their mistakes. I would keep the couple of hundred £££ this place costs and use it elsewhere. Complete shame what this place has become.

Had a nice dinner at Stix & Stones. The cocktails were delicious, especially the pornstar martini. The steaks were also very good and cooking them at the table was a fun experience. The food took a while to come out but overall had a nice experience.

We were very disappointed in our meal we came here for a special occasion my sister's 65th birthday she was really looking forward to her steak served on a stone only to find when it was served no stones. We told the waiter that we wanted stones he said that we didn't order the steaks on stones. Needless to say we were flabbergasted it is called stix and stones after all. The manager came we complained and she said the same we said we did not get any options from the waiter so expected the traditional stones. We have to say she was very rude and insisted we have the steaks as they came. As things turned out the steaks came on stones in the end. The meal itself was rubbish the chips were cold the prawn cocktails were served on warm plates hence my poor sister was sick during the night. I would not recommend this restaurant at all and as for the cost well we paid for a 2 star meal in a supposedly 5 star restaurant. Won't be going back and as for the manager she needs a course in customer service

We went here last night for my sister's 65th Birthday she specifically wanted to come here for the steak cooking on stone experience again as always been fun until now. We had our order taken and had our starters mine and hers was prawn cocktails which were served on WARM plates, unfortunately my sister was ill during the night and we put it down to the prawns. When our mains arrived they were served cooked and plated we said we wanted them on stones the waiter said we didn't order stones, we said we didn't think we had to as in the past they always served on stones and we weren't given the option. The manager came and refused to serve us steaks on stones and we had to have what was ordered, she was extremely rude to us, after discussion we decided to have them and go asap. To our amazement the steaks turned up on stones I wish I could say they were amazing but they weren't they were mediocre steaks and cold chips. I think 2 star food was served in a 5 star restaurant at 5 star prices too so over priced and overrated. We recommend the manager go on a customer service course.

Front of house was lovely, a gent very chatty unfortunately the rest of the services left us very disappointed where we won't be returning. Our order was taken and the starter came down still no drinks had came to our table, they then came I asked 2 separate waiters for a jug of water which was ignored. A table sat to the left of us ( a table of two) I was now finished my starter there order was taken my plate remained on my table empty for 20 minutes another table sat to the right of us (table of at least 8) was also seated and there order taken, we had been here for an hour at this stage and both tables either side of us were served there mains, we had no drinks left an empty starter plate on the table, finally a server came to the table to take the plate and we had the chance to order another drink our mains then came my partners sauce didn't come with his steak had to ask for this twice the food was amazing so it was a shame the service was so bad. We then asked for the bill as the smoke in the restaurant was stinging my eyes and again we sat there for 20 minutes coats on no drinks and had to ask a second time for the bill. The staff were all lovely however the service provided was less then admirable.
