Love the food out of hear but walked past the other day and seen it had a 0/5 hygiene rating. Don't normally eat at or out of anywhere below a 3. I'll certainly return as a customer but not until that hygiene rating is

I had an absolutely horrendous customer service experience here. I'm not a local, and I was at the hospital nearby with family. This was my first time at this restaurant. I walked in and there were so many people waiting for orders already, so it seems it’s a popular place.I picked up a menu to look at what I wanted to eat, and the lady at the front of the counter asked me if I was ready to order. I said no. She was not very kind, but I didn't care at the time. After a few minutes, I was ready and chose a meal. I let her know, and she shouted to the kitchen so they could start preparing it. Right away, she proceeded to charge me. I pulled out my credit card, and she said, “Just cash." I said, I just had a card and didn't know. She immediately stopped the order, which hadn't even been started yet, and asked, if I was going to get cash. She was still not very kind. I wasn't sure where to get cash, so I said, "No, no, it's okay." As I was leaving the place, she said in a very derogatory way, "Well, it doesn't matter."I don’t know why she said that or what she meant, but what I’m sure about is that no customer should be treated in that way.I ended up going down the road to the other Chinese place. The guy there was completely the opposite. I had the same issue (cash only), but instead of being horrible, without me asking him, he explained very nicely where I could get cash, and he even changed one element of my order to another. Absolutely different experience in the same street.

First time here and the service was excellent, quality food and my partner loves the gravy ( proper Chinese gravy).

Best Chinese in Dundonald, I usually get my meal delivered, but as I was passing one night I called in to pick a meal up, I didn't know they didn't take cards & I had no cash with me , they let me take my meal home , told me to enjoy it & I could throw the money in later on . How was that for service . They went above & beyond

The Tasty garden was basically introduced to myself by my son as an alternative to my usual, so to my son I salute ? you. A review from myself is a tad shallow as I usually only stick to the same thing, but hey I can wholly give it 100% in taste and quality.. the food is not oily, greasy or without flavour, I would recommend your visit and if you do find fault it’s because your either to picky or u just like to find faults??♂️ It’s busy so wot does that say ? Ok so I’ve beefed the place up, but with good reason, try it wot have you got to loose ..

Always really loved Tasty Garden, best in area, but last couple of times not just as nice- curry sauce thick and gloopy and chicken pieces smaller and some a bit rubbery. Please change it back !
