The food was tolerable but the servive was really bad. The lady seemed in a hurry to get us out, her whole demeanour was just rude. Won't go back there in a hurry.

Set menu for valentine's, table booked for 9.30, arrived 9.15 and got to table OK, were told kitchen would close at 9.30 which seemed odd considering the booked reservation time.main course had 5 choices, the chicken was unavailable and the fish was not as printed. I opted for the pasta dish, a wild mushroom rigatoni , don't worry, very few wild mushrooms were harmed in the making of it, but it was tasty enough. Starter was OK, and desert nice. Don't think I'll be in a hurry to go back

A lovely meal complimented by the excellent customer service of Patricia who went above and beyond to meet the requests of an elderly member of the family. Thank you!

Very average food considering the price. Alot of what was on the plates must have been pre-prepared. Chips dry/hard definitely not fresh. Burger meat could be much better. Portions small, which is only ever ok if the food is fabulous. Disappointing. Pity as location, setting and staff were all perfectly lovely.

Stayed overnight in Europa with breakfast included. Breakfast was amazing with great choices. Greeted by a very welcoming gentleman who made sure we were topped up with coffee. Cant wait for our next visit soon.

My husband had never eaten here before but was really impressed just as I was. Themanager Steven whom I have met before at the restaurant was just amazing. My husband was extremely impressed by his attentiveness and advice on food dishes and that of the wine to complement the food. Very reasonably priced. Great service and staff. We will definitely return.

I have never had to write review on anything before I but I feel that it has to be said . I have always wanted to stay in the Europa hotel since I was a child . My parents had gifted me a bed breakfast dinner stay for my 30th birthday . I had booked to stay in the hotel on Sunday the 11th of December past , we had dinner booked in the restaurant . ,which is when our stay went down hill . We very quickly taken to out table given menus and asked did we want to order drinks we ordered our drinks with in seconds another waiter asked to take our our order with both ordered 2 Caesar salads 1 turkey ham and 1 tia green curry . 25 minutes later my partner went to the bar area and to be told no drinks had been put through for our table , the bar man took our order . Then after 35 minutes in the restaurant a waitress come down with the 2 main courses I said sorry we never got starters the waitress never said anything and walked off with the plates .10 min later our starters arrived which where on the only edible part of the evening. When the main courses arrived it was Clear to see the turkey and ham had been sitting under a lamp the plate was all dried in Gravy scum , but had then been covered in that much new gravy the plate was swimming it was all cold and soggy it was not edible, my partner had tai green curry he said he could only describe it was rubbery as it had been under the heat lamp for so long the chicken was rubbery and the rice dried out and cold too . We got up and left the food and drinks and never ordered dessert as the mains was not edible. When we went to the till we said about the food and the lady said they wouldn’t charge us as it was already paid for with my voucher this did not matter . I did air disappointment with the hotel reception emailed the restaurant with no response . Can honestly say we it was the worst meal avoid avoid

Bit of a mixed review... the food was lovely, parfait nice and light and thai green curry was delicious. I asked if I could have my main with half chips/half rice and No was the answer - very strange for a restaurant not to cater to a diners simple request and I am sure I am not the first diner to request this. We booked dinner well in advance for a special birthday and asked to be seated in a nice area by the window, this did not happen, and we had a seat in a corner by a windy window. The wait staff were pleasant, the maître de (or head waiter..) was a little snooty. We were staying overnight at the Europa and breakfast the next day was delicious too. Everything was piping hot and they had a nice selection of tea's and breads too. Staff were young but very pleasant.

All 5 of us had amazing food and the service was very friendly. The parsnip and chestnut soup was delicious. I had turkey and ham and it was the nicest Christmas dinner I have ever had. The baked alaska dessert was fabulous. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I would highly recommend dining here.

Over priced average food. The food looked good and the waiter was great., but the food lacked taste! It wasn't unpleasant enough to complain, but it was bland. The portions of veg were a bit mean too, it definitely wasn't worth the money they were charging.

A group of 6 of us had dinner last night in the Causerie restaurant at Europa Hotel, Belfast. We booked the pre-theatre menu (two courses for £25 including a drink) over the phone two weeks ago. When we arrived we were told that this menu was no longer available but no apology was given. Several other tables were also surprised when they learned this too. I was then told that we could not order cocktails because they could not guarantee how long they would take to arrive. I therefore ordered a rum and orange juice but was given these in two separate glasses which was odd (this happened again with my second order so not a one off error). Most of our food was delicious such as the beef, the battered fish and the sticky toffee pudding but the thai curry was extremely dry with not much sauce and the sauce was quite watery with hard and dry rice. After dinner, I then learned that my husband had phoned early in the day to pay for a bottle of prosecco to be put on our table as a nice surprise but he was told that he could not do this for several reasons. All of this left us bewildered at such awful customer service. It is disappointing.
