It's difficult to find a really great gluten free pizza but pizza company is definitely up there. My husband didn't notice the difference. Have ordered here more than once so can highly recommend. Also order on their app or their website as the prices are cheaper than just eat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

I placed an order for delivery after receiving a text to inform me that the store was under new management so there was a deal on any size pizza for that day only. I went online and placed the order at 4.30pm. It gave me an estimated delivery time of around 5.15pm but I new that with this deal it would likely be busier than normal so expected it to take longer. At 6pm there was still no sign of the delivery so I tried calling the store to get an update, but the phone just rang and rang with no answer and this continued for about half an hour. I then contacted the botantic store to see if they could help but they also couldn't get in contact. I then managed to get in contact with the store a lot later and was told quite rudely that they were extremely busy and couldn't give me an update on my order. I then asked to just cancel the order and at that point they were suddenly able to give me an update that my order was next to go out. It then still didn't arrive and I had to call back again and was told that it was out for delivery again, but when it didn't arrive the manager then contacted me and told me that he remade the pizza and sent it out again. I received the pizza some 4.5 hours after ordering. To make things worse I was offered some credit on my account for the inconvience but this has never been added and on contacting the store today they told me their systems were down and they would not be able to check this for me or do anything for me today. Very bad experience and not worth going back when there are other options available with better customer service and experience.

I was given a wee One4All voucher for £30 for Christmas, and so I thought I'd treat myself on my regular Thursday evening that I get to sit and read and relax. (Don't panic my wife gets Monday nights!) I have been going to Pizza Express for probably 35 years or more, there's something reliable and tasty and comforting about them. We don't go out much anymore having kids and stuff it just doesnt work out. So I haven't been for about 2-3 years. The restaurant was pretty quiet and I hadn't booked but that was no problem. One of the things I've learned over the years is a quiet restaurant means quiet service too, the staff aren't wired like when it's busy, so it was a little slow but I was in no rush so thats a minor problem! I ordered a Romana Funghi di Bosco with added Pepperoni, Garlic Bread with Cheese and a diet coke. The food came in the right space of time, and was lovely. Pizza cooked just right, and Garlic bread nice and tasty. As I would expect and hope. In terms of this branch of the chain, I cannot complain at all. The food was good and the staff were pleasant. But lets talk prices, my bill was £28.75, for a meal for one with no wine or anything. Perhaps I am naive but thats a gouge. The pizza was £15.95 which is okish, but £2.50 for the extra pepperoni?! Then £6.75 for a tiny cheesy garlic bread?! £3.55 for a coke?! Now if I complained to the company they'd spin me "cost of supplies / cost of living" blah blah" but yeah. This place is now aimed at the monied hipster middle class families. To give context, if I brought my family here we'd be looking at near £120 for a one course meal for 4. Nope. I'll have to think again when it comes to Pizza Express, sadly.

I had to write a review to praise the staff at this pizza express. We arrived around 4pm on Friday 22nd Dec. Even though there was a sign just put up that they were taking bookings only - we were accommodated and squeezed in, which they didn't have to do. I didn't get the name of the man who gave us a table - but we appreciated very much. We travelled from Newtownards and were looking forward to it so much. We were then greeted by Chris who took our order and chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. He included our toddler in the conversation and was very warm and friendly. Upon leaving, our toddler had a big tantrum -being carried out through the restaurant-arms and legs kicking everywhere - and Chris came bounding over and calmed him down , and gave him a little Christmas toy. He went out of his way to help and provided the best customer service I've ever received - in addition to the fact that he was rushed off his feet it was so busy. I didn't want this exceptional customer service to go unnoticed and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you

This is only 1 star because I couldn’t give zero. This restaurant accepted a just eat order from us at 9pm and then left us waiting 1.5 hours and ignored our phone calls, until we rang another of their locations and they told us the branch was closed. Why accept a payment then? Ridiculous service, don’t go there. Waiting on our refund.

Got our second pizza co delivery tonight and it was fab just like the last time. Loads of flavour, not shy with the portions and fast delivery. Would highly recommend ?

Really poor pizza. Have eaten better frozen ones. Very disappointing. Toppings were mediocre, tomato sauce was blah and the base was lukewarm and stodgy. Go elsewhere.

Excellent pizzas. Great value

Very friendly & helpful staff that helped us with our order, the only downside I found was that when we tried to leave a tip for the staff there was no tip jar and they did not accept. As a hospitality worker myself I think the owner should definitely encourage this, especially when the staff were so attentive.

Well I’m going to fly in the face of all the miserable reviews and say that this place is ace. Having previously had a disastrous lockdown delivery experience with another MUCH larger chain we were keen to go proper local. The app worked perfectly (again, unlike the reviews), It charged my card fine, and I rang to check and they answered quickly and helpfully. The food was cracker, really fresh, hot, well packaged, well presented, and the delivery driver was spot on time, lovely, he spoke in sentences and smiled and had a bit o’ craic With our excited kids. So SO different to the usual miserable drivers from the bigger chains. But reviewers...... don’t expect miracles between 6-9pm on Fri or Sat nights! That’s when everywhere is busy. Adjust your expectations.Try these guys out, it’s where we order from now for sure.**Additional Comment**Its been 2 years since I left my review and we've used The Pizza Co Ballyhack many times since. And they have been consistently superb. Don't believe the negative reviewers!

Had another nice meal for our grandson's second birthday. It's reassuring that our granddaughter can get a gluten free meal without any fuss, while the rest of us enjoyed pizzas, salads and pasta.
