Adorable coffeeshop with great offerings... the Bailey's Hot Chocolate was delish. They have a great variety of magnets, artwork, postcards, and other souvenirs as well. The friendly staff didn't mind chatting with us Americans about all of our inane questions (bees!) Huge variety of CRISPS all in one place, that made us want to taste them all... so we kinda tried ;-)

Stopped in for lunch when we were in the area. There were several tour buses and lots of cars when we arrived and a queue out the door so we assumed this must be a good sign.It is canteen style with a couple of of hot food options and some meal deals (soup and a ciabatta) When I asked if I could have a ciabatta as per the menu I was standing next to I was told no and that I would have to have it with soup as it was a meal deal and they couldn’t do it separately as they catered to tour groups and we were ‘walk-ins’. They also couldn’t do a child’s cheese ciabatta for the same reason apparently, again she mentioned that they normally catered to tour buses (I really did not see how this was relevant?) In the end I went for the bacon and lentil soup with a cheese ciabatta to share with my son which was fine although quite expensive at £9.95 My father ordered the chicken satay skewer which came with a small amount of rice and a poppadom and ONE small skewer of chicken. His dish was I think £10.95 which is very expensive for the size of the dish and the area. My mother ordered an Irish strew (12.95!) and was given a small portion which she took back as it was not hot. The staff member initially disputed this and said that it was hot as it had been in the Bain Marie! My mother insisted that she was the one eating it and it definitely wasn’t hot and asked for it to be reheated which they eventually did. By this point we were pretty frustrated as the staff were generally unhelpful / rude.Towards the end of our meal a member of staff came round to ask us if we were driving a white car (we weren’t) as it was blocking a coach. I said we were driving a blue car then she asked where we were parked then came back a few minutes to ask us to move our car as she now thought we were blocking the tour buses (we weren’t). We had just finished our lunch at this point thankfully. We won’t be going back as even though my parents live locally they don’t want to eat somewhere you’re made to feel like an inconvenience. I guess tour bus groups don’t have much say in where they stop to eat…

Food was decent not great however it was extremely overpriced for what you get. £67.46 for three people to get food and a drink. I would highly recommend skipping this place and going up the road a mile for better food at 1/2 the price.

Visited on coach tour ,great menu but were limited choices due to place being busy before our arrival. Staff were lovely

Really good special of the day which was chilli nachos. Make sure to ask ingredients for each dish if you have allergies. Nachos tasted fresh and the chillin itself was stellar.

Very expensive for a very small dish, only few options and only one vegan (or vegetarian). The good thing is they serve fast. The personal is kind

Stopped on the way to the giant's causeway. Had the seafood chowder - delicious, but, BUT, they have THE TASTIEST HOMEMADE BREAD I have ever eaten. When I'll be old and senile and won't remember my friends, I'll remember their bread.

The price of the food is shocking compared to the amount and quality of it. My boyfriend and I paid nearly £15 pounds each for some soup and bread. The Seafood chowder is supposed to be £12.95 but because I got 1 sorry piece of the soda bread I was charged £14.45. Can you believe that. The table was so small you can't even fit 2 of the trays the provide you with and there's barely any chairs for the all the people coming in. They should use some of that money up to renovate the space. My boyfriend and I sells food too so we know how to do proper pricing unlike this place. Would love to open a small eatery like this one beside them. Lol. To give them a bit of a competition.

The concept is of a cafeteria. We were brought here with the Paddywagon tour. We ordered blt sandwiches and soup of the day. Sandwiches were full with mayo and had the cheapest bread, untoasted. If you get a chance, choose somewhere else to eat I'd say or at least do not choose the sandwiches.

Family-run business where all the tour buses stop at on their way to Giant's Causeway. The food here is quite delicious and they are effective at serving the food quickly. Recommend trying one of their stews or soups, especially on a cold day.

Probably the most over priced place ive seen I got two coffee and two kids drinks and it came to £11 we stopped here on a tour was going get kids some food but they don't even do any kids food at all and talk about the most expensive stew ever near £11 for one stew when the average price for stew is £4 seating area is nice and has a nice view beside that it's a terrible place

The Giant’s barn cafe, as the name suggests the restaurant very close to Giant’s causeway. Most of the day tour buses from Dublin or Belfast will stop here for the lunch. Food was good but bit pricey. Although the staff is super efficient in handling the crowd and you will get food served quickly. They have the washrooms inside the cafe but with very less space and you might have to queue up for using.

The Giant's Barn is an absolute tourist trap! All coaches go here for their tour lunch and it's disgusting prices. £18.00 for 3 Diet Cokes and a packet of Tayto crisps? If I were you I'd avoid eating here and eating later closer to the Giants Causeway where there is a hotel restaurant, and 2 small cafes serving hot and cold food. The Giants Barn has terrible prices, toilet facilities are horrendous with no soap, 2 cubicles in the ladies toilets, and 1 in the gents, long queues for a toilet and lack of cleanliness in the toilets.I'd highly recommend avoiding this place, even if your tour takes you here! - your better staying on the bus and looking out the window while people pay £10.50 for a curry! My local Chinese tastes amazing and is half the price! The two stars are for the following:-Not long queue times, quickly served (when I was served I got barely anything due to the disgusting prices!)-Friendly staff throughout my experience at The Giants Barn!
