Horrible service,they took our orders in a notes app and we’ve been waiting for an hour,if got so bad my mother had to get us sweets so we wouldn’t be too hungry,it’s also freezing my hands sweet cold and my ankles where killing us! To top it off you can hear everything going on and they don’t even seem to give a shot that people talk badly about the service! Waited over half an hour on food when I asked how long they were just putting it on said another 10minutes I had a child who was getting annoyed with the wait. Asked for a refund and left. The cafe wasn't even busy don't know what they were doing. Can say I won't be back

Stumbled across this little cafe when out with my wife and 2 kids.... Large menu.. You can just about have everything!. Y wife and I got a fry.... Massive.. My boy got curry.... Massive.. Girl got kids meal. Very good.. Not often iam in Coleraine but next time I will skip breakfast at home and hit the big 0 cafe ?Kid-friendliness: Wide menu to suit everyone

They took our order wrong and did not even try to fix it and made us have the wrong orderA coffee took 40 minutes to arrive and it turned out to be the wrong orderAfter she saw me writing this she then asked to change it . We were polite and nice yet the service was terrible.Maybe they had an off day but that is still no way to treat a paying customer.

Went in today for some lunch with my husband and 2 children. Sat at a table which was being cleared by a waitress who was far from welcoming. She brought us menus and we didn't see her for another 20 mins. I was trying to order via the app while we waited but it was taking ages to load. Anyway, she did come and take our order and again was far from friendly. After that 3 of the drinks came out then we waited, and waited and waited for 50 MINS. on our food. No one at the tables around us had food either and due to the lack of background music we could hear every conversation about it. Take out orders were going out before we were getting served which I felt was ridiculous. Eventually I had to ask how long it was going to be as due to our car park ticket we were getting pushed for time. Food followed not long after and some if it seemed to have been under a heat lamp for a while. No apology for the wait or explanation but then again I wasn't expecting one from a waitress who looked like she would rather have been anywhere else than working. Used to love the Big O but unfortunately it has changed and not for the better so we will not be back.

Visited on the 16th September for lunch, tried to use there app to order food but it wouldn't accept my postcode, one of the waiting staff then brought menu's, half an hour passed but that was the last we seen of her, a family across from had been waiting before we arrived so I decided life was too short and left. Can't comment on the food as we didn't see any, service was abysmal. Used to be good once but now sadly gone to the dogs. I'm sure there will be some excuse about short staff etc etc.
We had a most beautiful chicken dinner and a pork dinner the last time we were in and they were amazing ?

It's a big NO. Took a lifetime to even have the order taken. You have to pay upfront so you have to endure the lengthy waiting time. Cramped, hot and dim. Kids meals are 3 kg of chips and 1 sausage.

Waited an hour for our food when the restaurant didn’t even seem busy at all. I understand some places can be understaffed but this was an absolute disgrace. Wasn’t even given a wait time which we should’ve been told if they knew it was gonna take that long. Then a regular customer came in and got served within 15-20 minutes while I was still waiting for my food. The food was decent but the service wasnt.Will definitely not be going back

We visited here for Lunch. Pancakes x 2, French toast, and poached eggs. We waited 45 Minutes. Another couple beside us waited 70minutes and a mother with a young child waited 40mins. The food was OK but definitely not worth the wait. We would have left except that they take payment at the table at time of ordering.
