Several tables had trays of cups and plates on them , and still did whole time we had coffee there, approx 15mins....we were in the queue of ourselves and a younger couple behind us...the server says to the young couple " are you next" ..the young girl says no they are ( because we were in front of them)...."what do you want?"....(how may I help you would have been nice)...2 coffees please..."is that it?"....we got 2 buns also..."is that it now?"....I got the impression we were more of a hinderence instead of paying customers....the coffee itself was nice....the service or lack of it let the place down....won't be back and I wish I had read the other review on here...

Mat coming in front door is filthy. The window at the front there is a space and is covered in mould. Bleach wouldn’t go amiss. On the positive the coffee is good

Sister and I decided to take our first trip here for lunch, despite it being in town we've never been. Great food and great prices. Service is fantastic. Will definitely be back.

First visit to this cafe and the menu is on wall behind the counter. These days when wearing a mask my glasses steam up so I was finding it extremely difficult to read the menu and the staff member on till was no help whatsoever. Perhaps having a wipe down menu that could be handed to someone would help or have a menu on the window as it really is difficult to read menus when wearing glasses and masks!! When I was given the sandwiches and tea etc I was waiting for the milk and another member of staff asked if I was ok? I said I was waiting for milk and they just said “is there none left?!! Turns out the milk jugs are to the right of where I was standing yet when given the food and drinks the girl who had served me hadn’t told me that. I just felt it was all very impersonal and no friendliness at all. For some people the staff in shops and cafes are all they have to speak to and this was just not good at all. The girl on the till had dark hair and huge eye-lashes and was not in the least bit interested in customer interaction.

Three of us had a coffee each and a tray bake ( one of us had a a wrap ). Bill was approx £18. Really ? Granted, the tray bakes are big and portions of other offerings appeared generous, but I wonder what market they are pitching at ? That said, the quality of everything served was very good indeed. Perhaps more savouries alongside the tray bakes would be a good idea.
