Great wee place, really friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and the treat jar was brought round to all the four legged customers. We didn't have a meal but the hot food looked and smelled really good. We did have a white chocolate scone each which were yummy, and a couple of delicious lattes .. nice and hot and very tasty.

Excellent home cooked food. Friendly, helpful staff. Very reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at No. 22 ?Cottage pie, peas & chips Quiche & salad (did pinch some of hubby's chips. And the pot of tea even came with wee pot of top up hot water without having to ask for it! ?☕

I haven’t eaten in the 22 for a while but just love going into it food is good staff are friendly on a recent visit I must say I was very disappointed so much so I will not go back again the portion size has halfed the price has gone up and they are using cheaper ingredients the taste is not the same anymore pity our whole family enjoyed it so much

When I'm in the area I try to visit '22'. The staff are friendly and whether you are resting your legs with coffee & doughnuts or filling up with a breakfast fry, they will accommodate. Recommended.

Disgusting microwaved food, Overpriced for something that’s sitting for hours and then microwaved. The 3 meals we ordered was totally inedible.

When we arrived we were the only people at the counter and the restaurant was empty. It was as if we were interrupting the staff and it was bothersome to take an order. We ordered 5 meals: the Baked Potato arrived with cheese and beans that had been microwaved, the BarBQ Chicken Burgers were dry and not dressed, the Chicken Goujon burger had 2 small pieces of chicken and the soup and sandwich were ok. The Garlic Fries were more oily than garlic butter. The restaurant itself was cold and dreary, could do with a face lift and more lights.

Hot, tasty and the most amazing gravy. Great choice and lovely staff. Visiting NI on holiday, will eat here again before we go home.

My family visited the cafe twice this week and can highly recommend. The first day we had scones and on the second visit had turkey dinner and lasagne and chips. There’s a great selection of food to choose from whether you just want something light or something more filling. It’s great value and quality food and the staff were very friendly.
