Sunday 4th December 2022 8.45pm Food is absolutely fine…. Exactly what I expected. I have been a few times recently and always seem to order the same thing. Service…. 2 female staff members on duty. They are like chalk and cheese. One is super friendly the other would turn milk sour. Can’t see her name badge but black shirt, black trousers, black rimmed glasses. She’s actually rude and has zero people skills. I’m not sure why she is working in the hospitality industry. She was exactly the same the previous 2 times I’ve been in. First time I put it down to her having a bad day (we all have them). Second time I thought she was having another bad day. Now I just think she has zero customer service skills and should not be in a customer facing role. This would have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for her but unfortunately she lets the establishment down a bagful.

Great service. Such a shame this place is closing ?

First visit to this establishment. Food was excellent and tasty. Prices exceptionally keen during this cost of living crisis too. Staff very friendly. Clean and pleasant surroundings all made it an enjoyable stop.

Always feels a bit grubby round the place, could do with a good dust. Have been a few times amd won't be again. Food a mixed bag, sometimes good, sometimes terrible (rubbery hard chicken, raw "roast" carrots). Staff a mixed bag too, some great and friendly, others standoffish and make you feel like an inconvenience. Never know what you're going to get so we'll avoid in future.

Possibly the worst dining experience of my life. I'm on a carb free diet so I ordered a cheeseburger (with an extra burger patty for £2.49 extra) without the bun. This option was printed on the menu, not an off menu request. It comes with coleslaw and chips. Asked if I could have broccoli instead of chips and was very pleased when they said they could do this. When the food arrived, there was one small burger patty, chips (which I asked not to have and can't eat) no colesl

Fancied a meal out. Took ages to be seated, likewise to get drinks. The server actually put a downer on the experience by her attitude. Food, starter was extremely greasy and the dish looked like it had been thrown on the plate, mains we chose steak and that was a good choice they were succulent and well cooked ( melt in mouth). Drinks were served in smeary glasses and piled with ice ( just dumped on table.). Disappointing visit but we will try again, hopefully better next time.

Tried to have dinner here but was told no as our group (4 adults, 5 kids) was too big. Even though we where staying at the hotel! Front of house/Manager was extremely rude, wouldn’t even stop to talk or try to explain or offer any other suggestions. Couldn’t even give us two separate tables, said they where booked out, then said kitchen staff said no. After we left and went to Hullabaloo’s bar & grill which was fantastic we where able to book multiple tables via their website. Obviously didn’t need the £260 we spent elsewhere. After our nights stay we had pre booked our breakfast here. Super selection, friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Overall the room was perfect, very clean with a comfortable bed and we also had a lovely evening meal. We went for breakfast at 9.30am and it could only be described as terrible. We were sat down and told to help ourselves to the continental breakfast and then the waitress would take our order for hot food. We ordered 10mins after arrived and we waited 30 mins for our hot food. When we finally received our breakfast it was freezing, the baked beans were like they were poured from the can and the tomato was like it came from the fridge, the meat was lukewarm at best. This is a shame as the breakfast would have been lovely if it was warm. I complained to the man on reception and he explained to me that the restaurant was short staffed and he would pass on the feedback. Just as a side note for anyone else who might get caught out, reception sells bottles of water for £1 however, they can only take cash so make sure you have some or bring your own water with you or the vending machine in reception will cost you £2.20 for one small bottle of water!

Have visited this restaurant a number of times now whilst staying at the premier inn, and this place has seriously gone down hill. Friday evening without any notice they decide to shut the bar at 10pm stating it was licensing laws. Wasn’t too impressed given our family had come to visit us for a drink. Next day was given multiple different reasons for closure depending on who we spoke to. We came across for breakfast the following morning and placed order. Breakfast arrived with missing items and when raised with the waiter was told they had run out. Why not state this when ordering and also when bringing food to the table? Popped in for a drink on Saturday evening, and guess what - bar was shut at 10pm when we arrived! Completely understand there are always issues outside of control but why not inform residents rather than just shutting without any rhyme or reason. Definitely won’t be returning.

I took the plunge and tried a place I had never been to for lunch. Took my wife also. Brownie points and all that. The place has a nice decor and the staff are polite and inviting. It stops there. Looked at the menu and seen Chipotle beef Nachos. It said and I quote" Famil Fav " also claimed to be new! They didn't have any Chipotle beef? Thought to myself it is popular if they had run out.Bear in mind this was a Tuesday at 12.45.Ordered Nachos with the sloppy Joe vegetarian . Dont have any of the sloppy Joe "sure it's the same as the Chipotle beef" I was told. Ordered the Nachos. The photo says it all. Doritos with what can only be described as "not a lot"In the end I had nothing as did my wife as she ordered them also. I was so disappointed and will not be back. The meals are sent from Whitleys brewery and Heated on the premises. Not my idea of catering.

There were 7 in our party and after the first course there was a long delay before getting our main meals and another long wait for our deserts. Two had steak which we're over done and they were not happy with them. Staff were friendly and overall the meal and experience was ok.

Popped in for a couple of drinks. Service by Jude was absolutely top class. We all thought they were great and would give them a job any day. You need to look after this member of staff!! Friendly, polite and professional:an absolute credit to the business!! Thanks Jude ?

Used to be great for breakfast…this time coffee was bad, had to keep asking for things that ran out from buffet (when we could find a member of staff!), waited for 45 mins from ordering to receive our cooked breakfast. No sausages available! Rude manager. Will not return.
