Shared a meal here with family this week. Lovel picturesque location next to the river Bann and overlooked by grazing cattle on the the hillside opposite. Tasty and well presented seafood. Good menu. A range of drinks. Friendly, unhurried and inobtrusive service. Would be happy to return. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

Stayed for 3 nights. It is such a beautiful location, really quiet and relaxing. Seamus and his family are incredible and made us very welcome. Nothing was any trouble. The on-site tapas restaurant is gorgeous.

Absolutely incredible views, no place like it on a sunny day!Nearby activities: Close to Portstewart Strand, Portstewart golf course and both Portstewart promenade and Coleraine town centre.

Walked straight in without booking, parked motorhome with no problem, friendly staff.Food was AMAZING, lots of prawns in the linguini. With beautiful views. Highly recommended.

Aggressive old man confronted me about my well behaved Jack Russell whom I walked from the car park along the road before leaving him in car to get a coffee.Perhaps he could be advised about personal space and that it is unacceptable to walk right up to people nose to nose.I retreated to the car and put dog in.

Ok so 4 stars for food and I'd give 5 to the two lovely waiting staff but there is one major problem...outdoor seating is not dog friendly. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was because since Covid nearly everywhere with outdoor seating is. To be fair the owner did come and explain his reasons and, as we'd already ordered and paid for our food, he allowed me to keep my dog with us but unfortunately it means I won't be going back.

Staff not the most welcoming and you're not allowed to take the dog out of the car... we kinda felt like we were intruding.Nice views.

Parked our car and were greeted by the owner telling us it was private property and we couldn't put our own chairs on the grass. He wasn't interested enough to ask if we were going to order food and we were ordered, along with my disabled son, off the premises. I won't be back and neither will anyone else that I tell.
The Crannagh feels like the perfect watering hole...Blessed with the beautiful scenery of the River Bann and a purpose built Marina...Such a peaceful gem just off the beaten track which gives a sensation of peace!...The staff are courteous and friendly plus the hygiene is of the highest standard...Have your coffee outside on a dry day and quietly watch the river slowly meander by...100%

Very quiet for a Friday... However, excellent food and choice of beverages. A+++++ in my opinion. Ted ??

Called in today for afternoon treat. Asked for cream with our cake but told they didn't have any and it would take too long to whip some up. Ordered a coke, we were told they had no ice. Coke arrived already poured in a small tumbler, tasted flat. They charged £2.50 for this!!!! Outrageous!!! We used to enjoy this place when we occasionally visited the area but were disappointed today . The place had no atmosphere and although cakes themselves were lovely, we won't be back .

We booked for Sunday lunch as a party of six. Lovely setting beside the River Bann but that was the only plus point. None of the waiting staff had any manners, the menu lacked detail and the food was average at best. Disappointed and expected so much more. So many alternatives to choose from so don’t waste your money or time here.

A very sub-standard 3-course meal. The one star is only for the goats cheese starter. The mushroom risotto main was an over cooked plate of mushy rice and some mushrooms, with no flavour whatsoever. I’d have gotten a nicer brownie from a supermarket own brand range. Service was appalling. Hospitality is a tough business but a smile costs nothing. Drinks selection was very limited. To finish, we were seated in a marquee/conservatory area. The drapes from the ceiling were mouldy. This place is in a great location but they do nothing to make it a great place to eat.
